Not a hotel but a guest house only. Friendly staff but cannot understand most english. They gave us free w.... Very small rooms,CR and elevators. Location is very good just near jordan station and bus station. Near fastfood, groceries and restaurant. For backpackers only not for luxury accomodation

Very good location The housekeeper and team are very friendly, flexible and render their utmost to make your stay a wonderful one. Basic bed and toilet, clean, good air con, hot shower, sufficient to sleep over comfortably., For this pricing, definitely will come back again.

The exterior of the building was covered in scaffolding and the building interior and elevators need some remodeling as well. However, the area where the rooms are is a pleasant step up. The room itself is basic, but adequate and a bit bigger than so many places in this area of Hong Kong. We had a key card for both the entrance and the room, so it felt secure and was very quiet.

The room was tiny and didn’t have a window. In addition to bedbugs everyone writes about, it also had cockroaches. You couldn’t adjust the AC, so it was very cold. My room smelled like cigarette butt, it felt like somebody was smoking next to it.

Convenient and Affordable Stay in the Heart of Hong Kong My five-day stay in a conveniently located accommodation near Jordan MTR station in Hong Kong turned out to be quite pleasant and practical. The proximity to public transportation, with buses readily available right outside the door, and the ease of walking to nearby restaurants and shops, made the location truly ideal. The room itself, at 13 sqm including the bathroom, was reasonably spacious by Hong Kong standards. For the price range, the beds were relatively comfortable and the room was well-equipped with essentials like air conditioning and a dryer. However, a downside was the bathroom cleanliness; it was not up to mark and there was an unpleasant smell emanating from the drain which was a bit off-putting. Overall, this is a good and budget-friendly option in Hong Kong, enhanced by the helpfulness of the owner who is readily available on WeChat for any assistance. For travelers looking for a central location with functional amenities and at a good price, this accommodation is definitely worth considering.

This was our first time booking Taixing Jade hotel. Frankly speaking,  it was not a hotel but merely a guest house.  A notice board written "Licensed Guest House" was hang on the wall. The instructions for check in was not clear. We carried our luggage up and down and it took about 10 to 15 mins waiting for check in. After verifying our identities,  a lady brought us to level 15 & assigned "the best room" to us. Room was small which was expected in HK. However,  cleanliness was a big issue. Bedsheets & pillowcases were not hygiene at all. We had to use our own towels to cover pillowcases. Toilet & shower area shared a narrow space. The worst thing was no water in toliet tank. We need to use bathroom shower to refill water after flashing which was so annoying.  Smoke detector was covered with a plastic bag which caused concern of fire hazard ( pyhoto attached ). On the whole, it was an unpleasant experience. Won't choose this hotel again in the future.

Room size quite small but enough, consider this is hongkong. Location close to MTR Station, walking distance to Mongkok street market and surrounding with a lot of restaurant

The hotels location was excellent. A small but comfortable space perfect for weekend travellers

The land lady is kind and enthusiastic. Th But the room is a bit messy with cracks everywhere on the walls. And the cleaning is really need to be improved!

No value for money. Paid 80 euro for 1 night. The room was so small, 2 persons and 2 suitcases barely fit in the room. The wall was with mold, holes and a burning mark. Wall paper was riped off at someone places. When entering the bathroom it was wet, like someone just cleaned or showered and 2 hairs on the floor. When turning on the AC a strong smell of moisture and mold comes out. The good thing only of this hotel is the location. It's nearby the night market.

I booked this hotel for a friend...and she asked me to write a good review for her when she checked out today! She said: The proprietress of this hotel has a warm service attitude. You can ask her if you don't understand something. She will answer all your questions and meet all your requests. She arranged a room without windows for me, but it was not stuffy at all. The room was clean and tidy, and I slept comfortably. The quilt even had a fresh fragrance! I will stay in this hotel when I come to Hong Kong next time! recommend……

The location is really good, next to the main road. It's understandable that every inch of land in Hong Kong is valuable. Although it's small, it's very clean. The boss is also very nice. Overall, it's good and comfortable to live in. Overall, it's OK

Very close to Temple Street, the room is small and simple, typical of Hong Kong, with air conditioning, hot water and a kettle. If you are unfamiliar with the place, the hotel is not easy to find.
