Firstly, talk about pluses: 1) Great location, actually to get any station on the lines MTR. Close to bus stops to airport route (night bus as well), food spots, promenade with ferrys 2) There was no problem with late check-in (at 3am) 3) Air conditioner is good in the room 4) Water in the bath is also OK Now it’s minuses turn 😬 1) Very tiny room (pics attached) 2) Absolutely no soundproofing and smell proofing from the general hall 3) Narrow bed and blanket for 2 adults 4) Also saw a rat in the emergency staircase 5) Quite slow elevators To sum up, it’s good choice for a few nights, not for a week or even more. HK is really worth visiting!

I spent quite some time sifting through options on the platform before settling on this room. As many other reviews mentioned, the service was excellent; the staff were friendly and always ready to help with any questions. The hotel owner lives downstairs, and they offer free luggage storage. Bottled water is provided based on the number of guests. The windows are incredibly well soundproofed; despite the room being right by the main road, once the windows are closed, there's absolutely no noise disturbance, allowing me to sleep soundly until noon the next day. The surrounding area offers convenient transportation and plenty of dining and shopping options. Overall, it was a very good experience.

Not a hotel but a guest house only. Friendly staff but cannot understand most english. They gave us free w.... Very small rooms,CR and elevators. Location is very good just near jordan station and bus station. Near fastfood, groceries and restaurant. For backpackers only not for luxury accomodation

The receptionist was extremely helpful and friendly.  Very clean and the location was excellent.  Excellent value in Hong Kong.

The location is convenient and easy to find. The staff provided warm and attentive service; they even showed us different rooms and gave a very thorough introduction. The elevator is tiny, fitting only three or four people at a time, which often led to long waits. The room itself was relatively clean, though the space was, of course, extremely cramped. The immediate surroundings felt slightly better than guesthouses you'd find in Mong Kok. It was windowless, the shower was so small you couldn't even turn around, and lying in bed felt quite confined, almost like a cell. It's essentially just a place to collapse and sleep after a tiring day of exploring.

Very good location The housekeeper and team are very friendly, flexible and render their utmost to make your stay a wonderful one. Basic bed and toilet, clean, good air con, hot shower, sufficient to sleep over comfortably., For this pricing, definitely will come back again.

The exterior of the building was covered in scaffolding and the building interior and elevators need some remodeling as well. However, the area where the rooms are is a pleasant step up. The room itself is basic, but adequate and a bit bigger than so many places in this area of Hong Kong. We had a key card for both the entrance and the room, so it felt secure and was very quiet.

The room was tiny and didn’t have a window. In addition to bedbugs everyone writes about, it also had cockroaches. You couldn’t adjust the AC, so it was very cold. My room smelled like cigarette butt, it felt like somebody was smoking next to it.

Convenient and Affordable Stay in the Heart of Hong Kong My five-day stay in a conveniently located accommodation near Jordan MTR station in Hong Kong turned out to be quite pleasant and practical. The proximity to public transportation, with buses readily available right outside the door, and the ease of walking to nearby restaurants and shops, made the location truly ideal. The room itself, at 13 sqm including the bathroom, was reasonably spacious by Hong Kong standards. For the price range, the beds were relatively comfortable and the room was well-equipped with essentials like air conditioning and a dryer. However, a downside was the bathroom cleanliness; it was not up to mark and there was an unpleasant smell emanating from the drain which was a bit off-putting. Overall, this is a good and budget-friendly option in Hong Kong, enhanced by the helpfulness of the owner who is readily available on WeChat for any assistance. For travelers looking for a central location with functional amenities and at a good price, this accommodation is definitely worth considering.

This was our first time booking Taixing Jade hotel. Frankly speaking,  it was not a hotel but merely a guest house.  A notice board written "Licensed Guest House" was hang on the wall. The instructions for check in was not clear. We carried our luggage up and down and it took about 10 to 15 mins waiting for check in. After verifying our identities,  a lady brought us to level 15 & assigned "the best room" to us. Room was small which was expected in HK. However,  cleanliness was a big issue. Bedsheets & pillowcases were not hygiene at all. We had to use our own towels to cover pillowcases. Toilet & shower area shared a narrow space. The worst thing was no water in toliet tank. We need to use bathroom shower to refill water after flashing which was so annoying.  Smoke detector was covered with a plastic bag which caused concern of fire hazard ( pyhoto attached ). On the whole, it was an unpleasant experience. Won't choose this hotel again in the future.

Room size quite small but enough, consider this is hongkong. Location close to MTR Station, walking distance to Mongkok street market and surrounding with a lot of restaurant
