Holiday Inn Express Hotels in Hong Kong

The room was surprisingly big for Hong Kong, although definitely could be renovated. I was disappointed by the breakfast. You get to choose one option out of four and they are all kind of Chinese fast food, like instant noodles. Plus throwing menu to the guests tables is not very pleasing. The atmosphere during breakfast wasn’t good so I hurried to finish it and left. Didn’t even show up the rest of my stay.

4th times staying at here. All were good except this time round a bit quiet disappointed coz of the room the front desk gave. 15th floor was badly covered with smoking smell. We are NOT ok with an infant with us, thus we asked to change our room. Glad that the front desk did change a room for us.

The Mongkok Holiday Inn Express is a short walk down Dundas Street from the Yau Ma Tei metro -- f you have heavy suitcases, you are better off getting a taxi from the Kowloon Airport Express station. I moved here because the prices at the Golden Mile Holiday Inn were climbing through the roof over Christmas, and the Mongkok Holiday Inn was almost half the price. Very friendly and accommodating staff, who looked after my luggage through several comings and goings, saving me almost another £100 on storage fees. Breakfast is a choice from a set menu rather than a buffet, but it was nice enough. I'll definitely stay here again.... in fact, I will stay here again the day after tomorrow!
