I recently stayed at the Harbour Plaza North Point Hotel on 31/12/2024 and I wanted to share my experience. Unfortunately, my stay had several challenges that impacted my overall satisfaction. Since there were no available double bed rooms on the non-smoking floor, I was assigned to a smoking room on 9/F. As a non-smoker, I expected a slight cigarette smell, but the odor in the room was quite heavy. I informed housekeeping to spray air freshener while I was out for dinner, but the smell persisted, and even after checking out, I could still smell it on my clothes. Additionally, the room itself felt outdated, reminiscent of the 1980s, and it is in urgent need of upgrades and maintenance. The decor and furnishings could definitely benefit from a refresh to enhance the guest experience. Another downside was the Wi-Fi connectivity. The signal in my room was poor, making it impossible to download games to my Switch. I found myself having to stand in the corridor just to complete the download, which was quite inconvenient. On a positive note, the staff were polite and attentive, which made a difference in my stay. I also appreciated the spaciousness of the room, which provided some comfort despite the other issues. In summary, while the Harbour Plaza North Point Hotel has potential with its friendly staff and spacious accommodations, significant improvements are needed in terms of room conditions, maintenance, and amenities.

Nice hotel that's clean and convenient to Honghom station. Has courtesy bus every 30 min into town. Service friendly but at 3pm reception is really overloaded with people trying to check-in. This was most annoying having to wait in a que for a time. Otherwise a nice stay in HK.

Very conveniently located at Tsim Tsa Tsui mtr, short walk to many food and shopping options. Near K11 for luxury goods and space museum for cheap entertainment. 5 mins walk to Michelin gourmand Sheng Jian Bao (pan fried buns), and bakehouse. On the other side of the road there’s glory cookies and Jenny cookies are also located nearby. Supermarket, McDonald’s and even Chagee are about 5 mins away. Hotel staff are friendly and there is always someone stationed to help open the doors. Room is not very big but enough to open 1 large sized luggage and still have space to walk. The room also came with air purifier, very thoughtful. Would stay again in the future. There’s even airport bus A21 just a short walk down near Nathan road.

Disappointed with the service of shuttle bus, the hotel doesn’t put the timetable on the website and location for pick up from west Kowloon station. So we have to take a metro train to the hotel. Unfortunately the Google map didn’t direct us very well, took the longer route to get to the hotel from the Sung Wong Toi station. Also after 6:20pm there is no shuttle bus from Kowloon hotel at Tsim Sha Tsui back to hotel. I uploaded the screenshot to timetable for anyone who wishing to stay this hotel.  The room is not spacious but this is HK. The hotel will not provide any toiletries and water. You better to bring your own shampoo, because we notice after using their shampoo we got dandruff :( The house keeper service is good, they are very polite and accommodating your time to clean the room.  We didn’t have the breakfasts at the hotel, there is lots of local pastry shops and cafe near by. Try some local bakery you won’t regret it. Also 7/11 is only 1 minute away from the hotel which is very convenient to get water and snacks.  There is a self cleaning laundry service opposite the hotel, very cheap and easy to use if you have octopus card to pay for it.

Hotel is conveniently located next to the shopping malls. But if you need to go to the train station you need to take the light rail which will need above 15 minutes more time. Hotel room is spacious exactly as in the pictures
