The only inn in Masutomi Onsen that accepts online reservations. Wi-Fi is only available in the lobby. Newspapers are available. Online reservations fill up quickly. Staff come in at 6am to replace the rice bowls. TV only available on the ground floor. The toilet has a washlet, but it is a Japanese style, making it difficult to use. There is no air conditioning in the room, so it can be cold at times. There is a refrigerator. No service water."

"Check-in is from 3 PM, but you can go early, leave your luggage, and embark on an adventure. There are various activities, but let's start with a walk in the air. There is an athletic course set up 6 or 7 meters above the ground that can be enjoyed by families and adults alike, and it is divided into levels 1 to 4. Even level 1 is scary enough to make your legs tremble, and at the end you descend on a Tarzan rope. My 4-year-old son was just 110cm tall, but he had so much fun that he did it twice (you can do it as many times as you like until time runs out). After that, it's the wave pool. It opens at 8 AM, so it's great for those mornings when you have time to kill. The waves come every hour from 9:30 AM for about 10 minutes, and they are quite powerful. This hotel is so much fun that you won't have time to relax. As expected of Hoshinoya."
