Anantara Hoi An Resort Reviews

The hotel is conveniently located right outside Hoi An Ancient Town. You can walk along the streets or along the river and you’ll be by the market within 7 minutes. There’s a lot to eat and see in the area and the rooms are nicely sized.

Everything is good. You will need to get used to its open style. There is no barrier between rooms and outside.

The hotel is very quaint. It’s a bit too quiet with no evening music/activities. Somehow it lacks a wow factor considering the price that one pays for it. It’s nice but def not wow!

Stayed here with a couple of friends and we loved the location! It’s so convenient to get to most places by foot or Grab cars were plentiful with it arriving within 1-2 minutes usually. For in town travels, the ride will only cost $1-2USD. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The pool wasn’t the biggest, but was nice to have a dip on a hot day. The rooms had a beautiful lemongrass smell to them. It’s definitely more expensive than most places in town, but would highly recommend this location where you’re close to everything, but not in the busiest part of town.

It's not a new, shiny, flashy hotel, but the calm atmosphere was very nice. I think most of the guests were older Westerners. It's on the outskirts of the old town, so it's not too noisy. But you can walk to the tourist center. We also used the free bicycle rental service. The pool isn't very big, but it's enough to cool down during the hot season. Everyone was relaxing while reading. The Vietnamese iced milk coffee we had at the minibar by the pool was very delicious. The breakfast buffet had so many dishes that it was overwhelming, and they were all delicious. We checked out early in the morning, so we couldn't have breakfast on our last day, but they prepared a big box of bread and fruit for us to take out. I was also interested in the beach resorts in Da Nang, but if you're planning on sightseeing mainly in Hoi An, I recommend this hotel.

I really enjoyed my 2 night stay. The Old Town is within a 10-minute walk, and there are massage shops, cafes, and several shops in front of the accommodation. With the Thu Bon River in the back, it has a peaceful atmosphere. What is especially impressive is that it is environmentally friendly, so the room is equipped with water bottles, wooden combs, toothbrushes, etc. The breakfast restaurant also does not use disposable products such as plastic or vinyl, so it was nice to be able to read their values. It was nice to have a bunk bed, which is popular with children. I had a great vacation with my family in the large swimming pool.

It is very convenient to stay at Anantara when visiting Hoi An Ancient Town. There are free bicycles to borrow. The hotel's architecture and landscape are very beautiful, and the service is very friendly. This old hotel still has quite a lot of heritage.

There are two things that are not as good as expected in the hotel, but the rest are just in line with expectations. First, the breakfast is average. For a hotel of this level, the breakfast is served on the roadside, the dining environment is not good, and the variety is small. The breakfast is seriously inconsistent with the hotel level. Second, the front desk staff will have people who want to do business with you and promote products. This kind of thing should be stopped in a hotel of this level. Other places are in line with expectations, but there is nothing that exceeds expectations.

The location of the hotel is very good, the park is small and quiet, and it is next to the river. The overall facilities are relatively old, but the gray space at the entrance is well designed and suitable for leisure and daze. The water temperature of the swimming pool is good and the depth is relatively shallow, suitable for children to play and suitable for family outings.

I had a hard time deciding which resort to go to among the many resorts in Hoi An, but I chose it because it was close to the swimming pool and Hoi An Old Town! I was worried that the pictures wouldn't come out pretty because of the rain. The photos came out so pretty and the staff were so friendly that I remember them! The room was very clean and the breakfast was delicious. Banh mi and rice noodle scramble! It tastes even better when you eat it in a place with a view of the Thu Bon River! After checking out, I asked if I could store my luggage so I could explore more of Hoi An, and they said yes, which was really nice :)

A manor-style resort hotel, located in Hoi An, a small town with a lot of history. But the biggest surprise of this trip is the South Bank New World Beach Resort, which is 15 minutes away from it. As the latest comprehensive resort in Vietnam, it has three hotels, countless swimming pools, and a golf course ranked thirteenth in the world. It is definitely not to be missed by friends who like surfing🏄. The invincible infinity swimming pool is suitable for filming at sunrise and sunset, and there are a variety of food types. You can eat in the hotel for a week without repeating the same! You can also drive to the beautiful Bana Mountains to see the ruins of the Champa Kingdom, go to the Coconut Grove to take a coconut boat, and experience sea karaoke

Very good experience

We love the anantara brand and this hotel did not disappoint. We were here for our New Years Eve and had a fantastic time. The food was exceptional for a buffet and the entertainment was also good with live singing and music. The hotel gave us a Vietnamese conical hat and lantern which was nice. After our meal, we went for a short stroll and then came back to the celebrations. Everyone was having lots of fun dancing to the DJ who played some good music. One note may be that the weather wasn’t great when we stayed but as we had lots of exploring to do this wasn’t too annoying. We saw most of what we wanted to see during two days. In order to access the museums etc, you need to buy a ticket from the ticket office. There are lots of great restaurants near the hotel if you want to venture out. We also used Mr Clean for some laundry and they did a good job although they did return our laundry with an additional item which we returned to them after checking our items in the hotel. Definitely worth a visit to this hotel!
