Wonderful host / owner! Small and private villa setting. Very quiet and super clean rooms.

Stay here! If you are wanting to get away from the market feel of Hoi An, this is the perfect spot. You are immersed amidst lush greenery, rice fields and farms in the everyday life of Vietnam. You are offered free bikes to roam safely to the local restaurants. Basket boats, cooking classes and kayaking are nearby. The property has a somewhat bohemian and VERY peaceful eco feel with thoughtfulness put into every detail. The rooms are clean, cool, spacious and tastefully designed. The pool is perfectly situated for lounging the day away with no plans. The owners are warm, hospitable and sweet humans who want you to have a good experience. I came here solo but imagine that it’s also a perfect place for couples. This was the cherry on top of my trip to Vietnam. You deserve absolute tranquility surrounded by nature and the local life in good hands, just do it!

Pomelo is a diamond in the rough. I never expected this little piece of paradise. The owners/operators are so willing to help. They helped us book our tours, brought us via motorbikes to some of our destinations. They do offer bicycles for free to their guests but since I don’t know how to ride one, they offered to bring us via motorcycle. I also loved how they prepare breakfast when you come down so everything is hot and fresh. Have Vy get the coconuts right off the tree as well! That was such a treat! I will come back to stay and relax some more next time!

It was quiet on the outskirts of the old town, so it was great for a morning walk. Even though we arrived at 3am, we were warmly welcomed as soon as our car arrived. The host couple and their family live together, and I really liked how harmonious they were. And what was even better was that the wife was a great cook. I enjoyed a happy breakfast for 3 nights. This time, I could only stay in Hoi An for 3 days, but next time, I will stay longer at this Pomelo Garden accommodation. ^^

It's already been two weeks since I went... I miss that place... I was very happy during the four days I stayed at Pomelo, and it was an unforgettable memory... In particular, the lady owner's culinary skills were the best... It was much more delicious than eating outside and the price was cheaper, so I often asked for lunch and dinner. But I still remember it. Boss Nam was always smiling and considerate, and I was grateful... The restaurant was an open space, so there were some mosquitoes, so everything was good except that the kids got bitten by mosquitoes and the water in the sink drain drained a little late... If I go to Hoi An next time, I will definitely stay there again~

It is run by a couple and they are friendly enough to make you feel uncomfortable. I recommend it if you want a place that has a swimming pool in the yard and is not noisy. It takes about 10 minutes by car from Hoi An Old Town. Personally, I would like to visit again for the atmosphere and price.

This is a lovely little homestay although you are in a separated room with its own entrance which is nice. There are 6 units and we were in an upstairs one. The owners are passionate friendly hosts, the housekeeping is excellent and efficient and rooms are spotless. The pool is big and it’s a nice spot to relax by and swim in. . The garden and outlook is pretty. The breakfasts are spot on, could not ask for more. The location is a little way from the center and we understood that we used grab which worked well. The hosts softened the bed for me upon request. Thanks very much it worked. The shower pressure was very good. Water does go everywhere though as it’s an open shower. We knew that too. Could do with a few extra towels because of this but they always were prompt when we asked for anything in the room and for pool towels. There are a few minor updates required that we missed such as bedside lamps and a clock, the towels were ok but could do with an update. All the soft furnishings were new and clean or atleast they looked that way which was very nice, so we do think they progressively update things. It was a lovely stay and a great local experience. Other guests were from all over the place. It was well priced for what we got and wish the owners the best. The bikes were too big for my short partner though.

Hoi and Vye made our stay a wonderful family memory. The property feels like home and is just a faultless experience. It is the best location and way nicer than being in the in the centre of Hoi an . There are some places so perfect you can't believe your luck in finding them. That was out experience at Pomelo Garden. The hotel we originally booked was very disappointing so we moved after one night. That disappointment brought us the great fortune of finding this little gem, tucked away in the rice fields between the town and coast. Part of me hesitates to write this review in case this place becomes to busy and popular, but the couple who run it (and live here with their extended family) deserve every possible success. Hoi and Vee (sorry about the spelling!) are the friendliest, happiest and most helpful hosts you could wish for. Nothing is too much trouble. You'd like a vegetarian version of something in the breakfast menu? Just ask! Some yoghurt to go with your morning fruit platter? No problem! Breakfasts are fresh, delicious and substantial. The juice is freshly pressed, often from fruit grown on their trees. In fact, you might have problems getting a coconut juice at night because it is too dark for Vee to climb a tree to get one! Food is available at lunch and in the evening; drinks are available all day. The minibar is priced the same as most local shops. Our room was spacious with comfortable beds and pillows and efficient air conditioning. Outside the room was a small terrace with seating area overlooking the stunning gardens, pool and family fish farm. We saw butterflies, dragonflies and even a kingfisher. We borrowed the free bicycles and cycled into town with no problems. It's about fifteen minutes by bicycle, twenty if you take the longer but quieter and more beautiful route through the paddy fields. You can reach the edge of town within ten minutes. You are also well placed to cycle to the coconut village, coast and vegetable village. Taxis are easily available if you prefer. This was far and away my favourite place we stayed in Vietnam. In fact, the next time we see a good flight offer and have annual leave available we plan to come back for a two week stay. Don't hesitate, just book. You won't have any regrets. Just, please, don't come when I want to book!

A hidden oasis, 10 minutes from Hoi An old town. The pool area was amazing, it felt like our own private villa. The rooms were spacious, bright and clean. Breakfast was very tasty, especially the homemade jam!

Absolutely brilliant place to stay. The keepers are so friendly and are willing to help you any way possible. We stayed in a beautiful room and the swimming pool and the garden is lovely. The breakfast was tasty and they offered to make pancakes outside from the list. They even make a cake as a surprise from my daughters birthday. Location is about 10 minutes by taxi from centre of Hoi An, in nice, peaceful area. Really hope to come back there.
