Velco BB Himara ★★★
"We were looking for a simple, informal B&B without any luxuries, but welcoming and clean, and we found it. In a panoramic location, the rooms are spacious and bright. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast is good. Parking is available for guests."
Jon rooms ★★
"My friend and I stayed in one of the rare beautiful houses in Himarë. We had chosen the place by chance from photos. We were very lucky. You can reach the beach in just 100 meters on foot. Its location near dozens of different and lovely restaurants where you can have dinner in the evening is a 9 out of 10. Thank you!"
Hotel Frida ★★★
"Great location and size for 4 people to sleep"
GEO & Art Boutique Hotel Himara ★★★★
"Great sea view stay"
Saint Nicolas
"We had a wonderful stay at the newly opened Saint Nicolas Hotel. Everything was spotless and beautifully designed. The room was spacious, comfortable, and had a stunning sea view. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Great location, just a short walk to the beach and the town center. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Himara – a peaceful and stylish place to relax. We’ll definitely come back!"
Sun George
Koks’ Guesthouse ★★★
"Such a friendly lovely place to stay. They helped us out last minute and we’re more than happy to put us up. The rooms are spotless and modern with really comfy beds. We had a delicious breakfast and staff were so helpful, would definitely stay again!"
Jon Rooms ★★
"Great location, only a 5-minute walk to the beach, but the hotel is up a hill. The room was clean with a good view, and there were three dogs inside. The only downside was the weak water pressure when showering."
Himara 28 Hotel ★★★
"After much deliberation and thanks to AI(!!) I chose this hotel. We were in room 9. Upon entering it was beautiful clean and great view. We had a lot of issues which the lovely receptionist tried to sort out straight away but I was less than impressed for what I paid and the problems that happened. On first night the bathroom flooded. I advised receptionist shower was blocked water wasn’t going down but she insisted it’s ok just to have shower so I did and then she had to come up and mop our floor. Then my son had to shower and she was going to leave me the bucket and mop which I told her I wasn’t going to do this so she waited with me for my son to flood bathroom and mop after him. I went to use the hairdryer and when I lifted it from the cradle it sparked so I pulled plug out of wall and the hairdryer melted due to heat. I was given a replacement one. Now I have the maintenance guy and receptionist in my room with my son and I on our first evening. The TV didn’t work at all during our time there and was in fact unplugged from the wall, probably for this reason, and the egg swing chair on balcony was so eroded it was due to snap. They were not able to give me a refund of any kind but I did enjoy a free dinner on the hotel. On our last night (only stayed 3 nights) water was dripping everywhere making a puddle as the bottle on the porch hadn’t been emptied and was now overflowing into the room. I’m sorry for the receptionist Really nice breakfast and the dinner was good although a little over cooked seafood. Amazing location. Though due to the faults I experienced and the price paid I wouldn’t stay again. Which is a shame because great location! But plenty more around."

Stef and Stam Nerantzis
"The rooms are clean and showers work well. However, the breakfast served is at a restaurant 4 minutes away and most of the food the place serve is fried and the staff’s English is poor. The staff of Syed & Stam is VERY rude and nosy. Feels like they’re always watching you. My 3 year-old peed on the bed one night coz she was sick, which we informed the staff. We were told they were a new business and they didn’t have enough linen available, yet they still changed her bedsheets which I appreciate. Yet upon check out I was told when we left that a kid peeing herself isn’t normal, which is not only out of place but also not sthg she/we did on purpose, obviously. Careful cuz 1) the main staff don’t speak English and one says she speaks Italian but she can barely put 5 words together, 2) the place is convenient for the main beach but the area where the place is at is far from what the images of the place describe (it’s rather a block of flats behind other blocks of flats, very much like La Vecindad del Chavo), 3) customer service is poor, 4) seems more like accommodation for locals than worldwide guests, 5) staff uneducated on how to treat customers. Wouldn’t repeat, wouldn’t recommend."
Hotel Stolis
"A charming restaurant behind the small hotel has the best food in Himare. They use only home grown ingredients and their fish is fresh from the sea. They specialize in grilled local caught fish cooked perfectly. Huge portions of salads and grill shrimp so bring your appetite!"
Mema Hotel
"My experience was rather mediocre: when we arrived we couldn't find the hotel straight away because the name was on a small sign that was not visible from the street. The reception is a small house in front of the building that was not manned. After about 5 minutes someone came to show us the room and wanted to pay for the room again, even though it had already been paid for (it can happen that you overlook something, but that's no excuse). Breakfast is served in a bar opposite, and we had to ask other guests for directions, otherwise we wouldn't have found it and there was no one there to ask. The breakfast itself wasn't exactly sumptuous either. All in all, there are definitely better hotels with breakfast for the same price."
Chimaera Hotel
Royal 1967
"We spent 9 nights in the wonderful family run hotel. The hospitality, service, breakfast and cleanliness ( not to mention free flowing raki !) was 1st class. We miss the place and the family that run already and can’t wait to return. Don’t stay anywhere else in Himare"
Vila Milo
"Absolutely beautiful. The setting is amazing, stunning backdrop of mountains. A 15/20 walk to town. Lovely, friendly hosts. The pool was immaculate. Clean, pretty and best of all a sweet sweet friendly cat. Can't recommend enough. Perfect, peaceful, beautiful stay."
Rapo's Resort Hotel
"This is a really nice resort hotel. Really big 25m pool and all other facilities that especially for Albania was very impressive. They offer an extensive amazing buffet breakfast with pretty much everything you could ask for and delicious coffee. Unfortunately being a resort it comes with all the other rules - no bringing food in fro outside, at the pool you can only order pizza, so even thought the restaurant is right there you cant order from the restaurant and eat at the pool. Just bizarre. Loads of really nice staff - especially Ina at reception and Abrey - he was our favourite. There is a little playground for children with an enclosed trampoline and even a lady who does yoga in the morning and also games for children. The beach right near the hotel is great and really is a 2 minute walk - although golf carts are offered its not necessary. Once you are on the beach there is a Rapos bar, a Rapos fast food and a Rapos restaurant so you really don't need to go anywhere else. Its really expensive though - from the hotel restaurant to the beach bar and restaurant its crazy stuff. Very attentive staff though and very clean well looked after toilets at the beach. Where we found the hotel a let down was the rooms - small rooms with small bathrooms and tiny showers - need a revamp. But the worst was definitely the aircon situation. The hotel rooms get so hot that the staff that do the rooms close the black out curtains to stop the heat. The aircon is centralised and is not cold. We complained multiple times but apart from getting the airconditioning company in there is nothing they can do because yes the fan works but the air is not cold. It was really a problem all week as it was 34 degrees. Apart from that we enjoyed our stay."
