"We are really disappointed at the stay of the Aurora Igloo as it didn’t mention that there’s no toilet inside the room. We have to walk for 100m outside to get the bathroom as the winter is so cold and windy in December. Moreover, the hotel heater isn’t working really well, so we didn’t stay for the second night. As we have spoken to the owner, he says that we are able to receive refund in to my card. Thank you."

"If you are traveling around the island, starting from Reykjavik, after visiting the three main attractions of the Golden Circle, you might as well choose this hotel as your first night's stop, and then easily visit the various waterfalls in front of the town of Vik and the remains of the plane wreck on the second day. Although the room is 16 square meters, the layout is still livable. The hotel has an anonymous breakfast and a hot spring. Don't have too high expectations and it's OK."

"Amazing experience ! Everything was thought through into the last detail. The private rooms are very big & modern, the beds very comfortable, and the bathroom is very stylish - the owner has a good Taste ;-) The shower has a good water power and there are many great products that one can use (shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion). The common rooms are very spacious and people come there to meet each other, have a drink and play a game. And cherry on the top: there are fresh waffles for breakfast and coffee/tea... all you can eat! :-) The owner is also very friendly and happy to see his guests enjoying their stay. The best guesthouse we had so far on our trip... and we stayed already in 11. We recommend without hesitations!"
