Heidelberg is a magical experience. From this hotel it's easy to access the old town on tram, bike, or foot. Be sure to hike in the hills overlooking the town. If you encounter unhoused migrants here or anywhere in the world, send them your love and see yourselves in them.

Location perfect, room a little smaller than we thought. Overall, value for money.

Unassuming accommodation in Heidelberg. Exterior looks abit old but the room is very modern and clean. Reasonably nightly rates. Very near to train station at just 5mins walk.

The location of this hotel is great, and the front desk people were nice too. But the facility was way below either the industry standard or our expectation - the knob of the shower was falling down, the curtain was also falling down and could not close; the reading light switch had no handle; and the shower drainage was blocked (see the photos) ---- shockingly this is in Germany!! Very, Very disappointed.

Location was perfect and old nostalgic atmosphere hotel however not kind staffs, not clean, smells smokes in the room. Could manage much better!

Location: across the street, ~5 mins from the hbf. Reception: allowed early check in; they don’t always have someone at the counter so just give them a call and they will open the door for you (met some other guests, really nice people who helped me make the call!) Lift: old and small but it works! Room: double bed = 2 single bed merge together. had some flies initially because they left the window open to air it, service staff helped to get the flies out. Toilet: small but manageable if you are petite, may not be suitable for big size people as the bathing area is small. Transport: took RNV20 to and fro to the furnicular (which led to other tourist areas), super convenient!

The hotel staff is incredibly helpful. I arrived really early on my check-in date and they were happy to let me in my room. Then I had a medical emergency while staying there and they helped with everything. Plus the room is a really good value for the price.

Comfortable stay

Location was one block from train station, one block from metro and a grocery store. Elevator was a very small.

Next to the station but some distance from the old town, the sound insulation is very poor, but the counter staff are very nice! You only need a key to open the door for entry and exit. If the counter is not in place, you have to wait until she comes back or another tenant opens the door... The door lock of the room is very old, and a key is required to lock it inside (as shown in the picture). If you mind about security issues, please Pay attention! ! !

Close to the station, interesting interior, clean. I liked everything in principle. Only getting into the hotel was difficult, because the entrance door has German phone numbers. There were no employees at the reception, perhaps it was due to the holidays.

My impression of this hotel is not very positive, everything is old. Anyway, it was not only cheap, but also convenient. It was not far from the train station and bus station.
