Manxin Hotel Properties in Harbin

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! Just a few steps out the door, and you're at Sophia Cathedral Square. In the evening, you can directly admire the beautiful night view of the cathedral – it's perfect for photos. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the front desk staff were warm and attentive. It's also a short walk to Central Street, making sightseeing and dining incredibly convenient. This is a very handy place to stay when traveling to Harbin. Overall, the stay was excellent, highly recommended!

Great location, spacious and clean rooms, plus complimentary afternoon tea. You can explore Gogol Street, and if you turn right from the hotel, you'll find a small church. To the left, there's Qiulin Company, where their Russian restaurant and Kvass are quite good. There's also a morning market across from the hotel, and the 'Yellow House' community nearby is worth checking out.

Overall, the hotel was decent in all aspects. The cleanliness, environment, and service from other staff members were all good. However, the female front desk staff member who checked me in on the evening of August 14th – she wasn't an intern – had a rather cold attitude during our communication, which made for a very unpleasant experience. When I inquired about a room upgrade, after a slight disagreement, they did upgrade my room. However, I wasn't informed beforehand about the window situation in the upgraded room, and I was quite dissatisfied with the window style once I entered the room. Aside from these two points, everything else was generally fine. If I stay here again, I'll try to avoid checking in with that particular front desk staff member.

Facilities: Relatively complete, though the room size is a bit on the smaller side. Cleanliness: Spotlessly clean, no hidden corners. Environment: Conveniently located about a fifteen-minute drive from the Ice and Snow World. However, it's a bit further if you're heading to Central Street or other similar attractions. Service: The service quality is excellent. Special commendation goes to the restaurant staff, who were warm and responsive. You should definitely try the night-time barbecue; it's delicious!
