Hotels in Chinese-Baroque Daowai Areas, Harbin

This hotel is housed in a beautifully renovated century-old building that used to be a futures exchange. The rooms are spacious, bright, and impeccably clean. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive. The breakfast spread was also generous and varied, offering items like boiled shrimp, local red sausage, eggs, and coffee. Its prime location on the pedestrian street makes it super convenient for dining, entertainment, and sightseeing. I highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Harbin – you'll have a wonderfully comfortable stay!

The hotel is situated by the river, so in the evenings, we enjoyed strolling along the bank, taking in the river views, and watching people fishing and dancing. The subway station and the Chinese Baroque Historical District are just 500 meters to the south. We parked our car in the backyard and didn't touch it for our entire three-day stay. Firstly, there's a somewhat bustling flower and bird market right outside the entrance, and secondly, Harbin's subway and taxi services are so convenient that there was simply no need to drive. In fact, it's particularly well-suited for families, as our kids absolutely loved visiting the nearby market to see the cats, dogs, and parrots. The hotel is quite generous; the spacious lobby offers plenty of seating, along with complimentary coffee and bottled water. The room itself had numerous highlights: the stylish decor, a large TV, comfortable bedding, a Tmall Genie smart speaker, and excellent air conditioning and hot water.

The hotel is out of the central tourist area but easily accessible via bus and subway. However, there are some construction noises every single morning around 6am to 8am during our stay, and that was quite disturbing. Free afternoon tea is just a self-service snack corner (with only 2 choices of snacks). Overall, it's just ok but no complain with the cheap price.

Staying at Atour Boutique Hotel (Harbin China Baroque Store) is great! The location of the hotel is excellent, close to the subway station and attractions, and it is very convenient to travel. The design of the room is very distinctive, the Chinese style is matched with modern facilities, warm and comfortable, and the children especially like it. The bed was very soft and slept very well. The hotel service is intimate, the front desk is very warm, and also helped recommend fun places around. The child had a great time here, lived very comfortably, and will choose here next time I come to Harbin!

The service was warm and attentive, proactively offering assistance. The room was clean and odor-free. The breakfast was plentiful, and the freshly prepared food was delicious. Overall, the experience was excellent!

This stay was such a pleasant surprise! The front desk ladies were very enthusiastic. They smiled and guided me throughout the check-in process. They also asked if I needed to adjust the direction of the room. They answered all my questions patiently. The room was clean. The sheets and quilts were white and stain-free. The seams of the tiles in the bathroom were cleaned. There was no dust even on the corners of the table. It was very comfortable and reassuring. The details were so well done. I will definitely choose this hotel next time!

The room is small on the top floor. My husband hit his head several times at 176. There is a smell of decoration in the room that has not been scattered. I have been dizzy for a long time. The service staff is actually very good and very polite. I recommend a lot of places to eat and play. The city center may be smaller. The hair dryer is very good. The L'Occitane wash room is generally soundproof. But this decoration is good to take pictures.

The Starway Hotel is a hotel that our whole family likes. We chose Starway again when we went to Harbin this time. The only drawback of this choice is that there is no parking lot inside the hotel. The nearby parking lots are all charged at 5 yuan an hour. Later, the hotel waiter introduced me to a free place. Although it is a bit far from the hotel, it is okay, about ten minutes' walk. I booked two deluxe family rooms, and the air conditioning in one of them broke that night. The waiter immediately found a maintenance master, but it was not easy to repair. He changed me to an ordinary family room that night and refunded me the price difference. The next day, he quickly changed me to a new deluxe family room. The service of Starway is very good. The breakfast variety is a bit small. I have stayed in the Starway Hotel in Anguo, Hebei before. The environment of that store is quite good and the restaurant has a lot of choices for breakfast. Overall, the service, hygiene and facilities are good. By the way, there is a small problem. There is no air conditioning in the corridor, which is a problem. It is very stuffy in the summer and there is a smell of no ventilation. I hope it can be improved.

The location is also perfect, making it very convenient to get around, with shopping malls and a subway station nearby. This was a fantastic stay. I'll definitely stay at this hotel again next time I'm in the area and recommend it to friends!
