Atour Properties in Harbin

My stay at Atour was an excellent overall experience. The hotel itself was clean and tidy, and the public areas were simple yet comfortable. The room had great natural light, and the bedding was soft and fluffy, allowing me to unwind and get a really good night's sleep. The bathroom had a good wet/dry separation, plenty of hot water, and quality toiletries. The staff were warm, polite, and efficient with check-in, and they responded quickly to any requests. The breakfast had a rich and tasty variety, offering a balanced meal. The late-night congee service was also a thoughtful touch, perfect for those returning late, with a selection of congee and cold dishes. The room was quiet and peaceful, with good soundproofing, making it a very comfortable stay for a business trip. It offers great value for money and is definitely worth staying at again.

The fatigue from my travels was greatly alleviated here. The staff's service attitude was truly heartfelt, friendly, and accommodating. They responded to my needs promptly, were meticulous and rigorous in their work, and were understanding of the difficulties of travel, treating everyone with sincerity. The room had excellent soundproofing, providing a very quiet living environment. Their service was warm and thoughtful, patient and inclusive, thorough and meticulous, and enthusiastic yet appropriate, leaving a very positive impression. The soundproofing was great, allowing for a peaceful rest and rejuvenation. The staff's service was kind and detailed, diligent in their duties, and outstandingly excellent, truly commendable.

The location is fantastic, right by Central Avenue, a very bustling and lively area with plenty of options for dining, entertainment, and shopping. The hotel is relatively new, but the room door lock was faulty and wouldn't close properly. However, it was fixed immediately after we reported it. The breakfast was quite rich, and for those checking out early, the front desk would prepare packed breakfasts in advance – the service was top-notch. Overall, it was a great stay and I highly recommend it! One thing to note is that the handrail in the elevator seems to be positioned awkwardly. At the corners, it's easy to bump into people, especially hitting your waist if you're not careful. This could definitely be improved.

I always give five-star reviews, but this is the first time I'm writing a negative one! This was also the only disappointing, even infuriating, part of my trip to Harbin. Based on my positive experience at Atour Hotels in Beijing, I decisively booked two nights at the Atour Hotel on Central Street in Harbin. At 3 PM that day, the front desk called to confirm my reservation, and I confirmed I would be staying for two nights. Due to heavy rain, I didn't arrive at the hotel until 6 PM. After checking in, I entered the room and saw two pillars, one of which was right in the middle of the room. This was not mentioned at all during check-in. Because I was in a hurry to take my child out for dinner, I only discussed the room issue with the front desk after we returned. They said they could change my room tomorrow. I asked why such a room wasn't mentioned beforehand, and their explanation was: 'We had no other rooms available.' The next day, I went to the front desk to request a room change. The front desk told me I had to hand in my old room card first before they could make a new one. Their reason was that if they made a new card, the original room would become 'dirty' (meaning ready for cleaning), and they were afraid housekeeping would disturb us. They asked me to confirm that my belongings were packed, then call the front desk. After packing my luggage, I called the front desk, and a robot came to deliver the new room card and collect the old one. At this point, Atour Hotel had thoroughly disappointed me. There are three reasons: First, this type of room, which significantly impacts the living experience, was sold at the normal price of 600-700 per night, and the front desk did not inform me about it at all during check-in. Second, from the first time I raised the room issue until the room change, not a single front desk staff member expressed any apology. The entire communication and room change process felt completely impersonal. Even when I asked why they couldn't give me the new room card first, the front desk seemed impatient. I've had experiences at other hotels where I extended my stay but needed to change rooms. In those cases, they specifically brought the new room card to me and chose the closest available room to make moving my luggage easier. After I settled in, they would then notify housekeeping to service the old room. When traveling with family, packing luggage is a hassle and takes time; no one wants to change accommodations in the middle of their stay unnecessarily! In contrast, Atour Hotel, despite it clearly being their problem and causing me inconvenience, didn't seem to think anything was wrong and simply processed the room change procedurally. Third, in all my years of staying at hotels, the front desk staff I've encountered have always been professional, warm, and attentive. Atour's front desk staff are truly far worse than the housekeeping aunties. If everything is just handled by procedure with no service awareness, they might as well replace everyone with robots – at least robots wouldn't be impatient!

Facilities: This is a newly opened, upgraded Atour hotel. The bedding is incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The shower is excellent, and the bathroom mirror is well-designed, perfect for makeup removal. The showerhead provides a strong water flow, and hot water is instantly available. Hygiene: The cleaning staff are very dedicated and clean the shower every day, removing hair to prevent drain blockages. Service: The front desk service is great and very satisfactory. Check-in was handled with great enthusiasm.

The room was clean and quiet, not noisy at all. There are many eateries nearby, and transportation is very convenient. There's a whole street of BBQ and many restaurants, and the flavors are quite大众化 (popular/mainstream), so people from other provinces can also enjoy them.

Had very good experience in the hotel for my family trip during their popular season in winter! The staff are very friendly which really impressed me. I ordered some famous yogurt to hotel before arriving the hotel. Without any notifications, the staff helped me to keep in the fridge as they noticed that it’s yogurt inside the box. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻I left some kids winter clothes in the room as I dun need them anymore after the trip. The staff also called me to double confirm whether they r unwanted or forgotten. The room is spacious and clean. The breakfast is quite yummy too! Will definitely stay again in my next China trip!

The location is perfect, making for a comfortable and hassle-free stay! The transportation is incredibly convenient. Subway Line 2 is right outside, taking you directly to Central Street and the Harbin Ice and Snow World without any transfers – a direct ride is just fantastic! It's also very close to Harbin Institute of Technology, making travel incredibly efficient. The surroundings are excellent. The European-style architecture on nearby Garden Street is beautiful, perfect for a stroll and photos, creating a wonderful atmosphere. A taxi ride to St. Sophia Cathedral is only five or six minutes, which is just the right distance – not too noisy, and super convenient for a visit. The room was clean and tidy. The bedding and pillows were very comfortable, with just the right balance of softness and firmness. I slept soundly every night during my multi-day stay. The heating was strong, and the soundproofing was good – Atour's quality is consistently reliable. The front desk service was warm and helpful, always ready to answer questions, providing a great experience. If you're coming to Harbin, you really can't go wrong with this hotel. The transportation is smooth, the location is great, and you'll sleep soundly. It offers excellent value for money, and I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit!

I genuinely think this hotel is great. The environment is quiet and serene, and the room layout is well-designed and tidy, with excellent natural light and ventilation. The toiletries are comprehensive, and the bathroom is clean and odor-free. The front desk staff are attentive and friendly, always quick to help resolve any issues. The front desk service was excellent. They called me in advance to explain the parking situation, and I received complimentary breakfast upon check-in. The room was large, spacious, and very clean. Having two sinks in the bathroom was extremely convenient. The restaurant had a rich variety of dishes, and their special 'da lu mian' (noodles with gravy) was delicious. The lady at the restaurant was especially warm and welcoming. Upon checkout, I received a complimentary souvenir, which included a water cup and a toy. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and will definitely stay here again!
