Hotels in Song City/Zhuantang Town/Zhijiang Tourist Area, Hangzhou

Let's start with the positives: Check-in at the front desk was very convenient and quick, and the hotel was very accommodating. Upon my request, they kindly provided an extra breakfast and upgraded me to a river-view room. The river view was truly beautiful, thank you. There's a Metro Line 6 station conveniently located not far from the hotel, making transportation very easy. Kaiyuan Plaza is also right next door, offering everything you need for dining, shopping, and entertainment. Now for the downsides: The attendant on the 17th floor was an older lady. Because I have a slight obsession with cleanliness, I requested bed linen changes more frequently. This seemed to annoy her, and she started showing attitude. She even gave me dirty/stained bedsheets and then took away the card/note for requesting bed linen changes. I found this behavior completely unacceptable, especially since it's part of her job! The next day, while the front desk staff (a young lady) tried to console me, they sent up a fruit platter that was exactly the same as the one from the breakfast buffet 😓. Honestly, these experiences were quite disappointing. Additionally, the hotel mattress was exceptionally soft. For the past few nights, I woke up in the middle of the night with back pain and hardly got any good sleep. The carpet and tabletops were also quite dirty. Despite asking the attendant multiple times to clean/vacuum them, it was never done throughout my five-day stay. My overall experience was just average, and the lack of a swimming pool also detracted from the overall enjoyment.

I was in Hangzhou on a business trip and the hotel was excellent overall. The room had floor-to-ceiling windows, and the Chinese restaurant on the 4th floor was very nice. It also had direct access to the Yintai City dining area, which was quite convenient. Xiao Yang also helped me print photos, which were very clear and included frames. The Songcheng Scenic Area is across the street, and nearby attractions include the Provincial Museum, the Provincial Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum, Jiuxi River, Liuhe Pagoda, and the Qiantang River. I'm sure I'll be back next time I have the chance.

Because of a sudden change of plan, I continued to stay here at night. There is free parking in the basement, and it is convenient to take a taxi, so there is no need to worry about parking. I didn't meet the handsome brother today. I ordered a midnight snack. The robot was busy delivering food. After waiting for a long time, the brother personally delivered it to the upstairs. The service is still good.

The hotel experience is great! The location of the hotel is unique and convenient for travel. It is close to both scenic spots and shopping areas. The hotel has all the facilities you need. The rooms are spacious and bright, and the layout is very exquisite. The bedding is soft and comfortable, and the bathroom is clean and tidy with a large space. The service is impeccable. From check-in to check-out, Xiao Hu at the front desk is warm and thoughtful, and always responds to our needs in a timely manner, which makes people feel particularly considerate. The hotel's breakfast is rich and varied, not only with a variety of Chinese and Western food, but also with fresh fruits and exquisite desserts, which taste very delicious. I stayed here for a few days and had a very pleasant time every day. I will choose here next time.

It is close to the Zhejiang Museum, and I booked this place for the convenience of travel. Both beds are wide, so it is not crowded to sleep with children, and the whole family slept soundly. There is a desk, which is convenient for children to do homework. I didn't plan to write a review, so I didn't take a photo of the room, only a window view. Hotel decor and ambience is luxurious and grand. Room is clean and comfortable. Everything in the room gives a luxurious feel but most items in the room are chargeable. Shower gel and shampoo were only quarter-filled in the dispenser in the shower cubicle. Conditioner is not provided. The beautiful luxury bathtub does not have any bath wash provided. The bath salts is chargeable. Soap is also not provided. The hotel also do not provide children’s slippers and toothbrush. Breakfast was average and choices were limited. Service provided were average. There is no warmth in the service provided. Staff were not very friendly and helpful.

The room was spacious, and its layout felt more comfortable and practical than a typical hotel. The front desk staff were very friendly and even provided complimentary fruit. We had an excellent river view, and the breakfast was good. I was quite impressed to see what looked like the head chef and manager personally overseeing the breakfast service in the restaurant. The breakfast waitstaff were also very attentive, constantly checking if guests needed anything. All in all, a truly pleasant stay.

Came to Gome Xiangshan to take an exam. It takes about 10 minutes to walk from the hotel to Gate No. 5 from Lingmei Road in a straight line. There are restaurants along the way, and takeout is also very convenient. The hotel robot delivers it to the room. My room is not close to the road, so it is very quiet at night. The room is not big, and the washbasin is closer to the bed. The hotel is crowded during exams, but the staff is gentle and polite. The breakfast is self-service, and I prefer the wontons.

I booked this hotel to be closer to Yunqi Bamboo Path, but it seems that it is not close to anywhere except Songcheng. Thanks to the front desk guy for upgrading the suite with two beds. It is really big, but the second floor is dim and the balcony cannot be exited. I found that there was no soap, the care package was opened, and the bath salt was dirty. The supplies are really hard to describe. I called to ask for these things plus two bottles of water, and it took almost 20 minutes to deliver them. The hotel's attitude was quite good, explaining that there were not enough staff and gave souvenirs, but I stayed in several hotels during the May Day holiday and only this one was like this. The breakfast was a bit chaotic, the milk pipe of the coffee machine was blocked, and there was no black tea. The only delicious thing was the wonton.

The hotel is a convenient 10-minute walk to the Zhejiang Provincial Museum (Zhijiang Branch), and that was precisely why we chose Shengwei. Upon check-in, we realized we had made an excellent choice. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and even proactively upgraded our room, which we really appreciated! The room was spotless and well-equipped. The mini-bar even included complimentary drinks and bottled water, which our child absolutely loved. The breakfast buffet was also quite good. All in all, this was a very satisfying hotel stay, and we would definitely choose Shengwei again if we have the opportunity.
