"The smell, the stench and unclean sheets dark and ugly room was just not good! The bed squeaked so much and no cups in the room… just wasn’t worth paying more for this hotel. I wanted to cancel and leave. It was that bad"
Hyatt Place Hampton Convention Center
Magnolia House Inn
"Happened upon this place while studying Google Maps in need of a nice spot in proximity to the Hampton Coliseum (but out of the fray) for a run of concerts. Reviews seemed too good to be true, but Lankford and Joyce Blair delivered such a lovely experience from start to finish. Kind, warm, helpful, unobtrusive people who take great pride in running an immaculately maintained historic property. Spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable, and just really thoughtfully orchestrated. Terrific breakfasts. A real gem of a B&B experience. Would return without hesitation."
