4 mins walk from Berliner Tor Station via S Bahn but the station doesn’t have elevator. The hostel is huge. I like the Ambiance at the reception. I just don’t get it, why I have to check in again though I already did online. The room and toilet was clean but not a luxury type. I booked a private room for two. I cannot tilt the window and some part are broken. The water pressure at the shower wasn’t strong enough probably bec alot of people using it or they control it. It’s not sound proof as well, so you’ll hear loud noises from the teenagers but, I was able to sleep. You need long patience when waiting for the hostel’s elevator. Everything in Hamburg is expensive. I still chose this since I’m out the whole day. They also have kitchen for guest. Which includes, Stove, Microwace and fridge. You can borrow utensils with deposit. Cleaning service wasn’t good. They didn’t remove the hair from the shower drainage. So the water got stock while I was showering.

The hostel is nice and surprisingly quiet given the amount of foot traffic it has. The ciry center is a 15 minute walk away and there are local shops for food. All in all would visit again

4 day couple trip. Used 2bed room with private bathroom. 10 min walking distance to Berliner Tor Station (U-Bahn/S-Bahn). There is a huge discount supermarket right by the station. Mostly a hostel building with many young residents. Bedsheets/towels/bathroom facilities all clean. Tv did not work. Walls, drapes look old, but not dirty. Slight noise over the night due to young residents. Decent and crowded lobby geared towards young residents. Long lines for non-automated checkin. Overall, price/ service is a perfect match.

Very nice staff who were friendly and helpful. Rooms are a little old but the facilities are great - the communal kitchen was clean and there was free hot water at the coffee machine

Best for short budget trips. Wasn’t the most private, spacious or secure hostel. Shower seemed to be cleaned regularly though had some hairs on the floor. Wasn’t the best stay for me. The downstairs bar section was quite nice and social. They had a laundry service which is helpful.

Very noisy place. It’s enough to sleep, but wouldn’t recommend. Staff speaks English only, so it’s tough if you don’t know the language. Wouldn’t go there again if I don’t have to.

Totally disappointed my visa got delayed and requested to cancel one week before but the hotel didn't respond positively they need only 🤑 money not rhe returning guests. Very disappointed. Instead of charging only one night as no show they charged me 6 nights . Very very bad experience

Not the best service, reception crowded and need to wait for a while to get checked in, hostel is huge with good vibe. I stayed there during EuroCup and was so many people downstairs socializing and drinking. Paid extra for towel the bed just ok.

Ok stay, you get what you pay for. Nice staff :)

The location is good for those who stay only a few nights. There is no air conditioning, and during summer it can be hot, so we had to open the window, which I don't mind. However, it was very loud at night. Because the hostel is huge and has a lot of rooms, the whole night was filled with the sounds of people knocking next doors, traffic, and general noise.

The hostel was as it can be expected, not clean and very crowded. The last day someone vomited in the elevator and there was no staff to clean. The hostel is a bit far from the central station but for the price is ok.
