"Close to the railway station with an under 10 minute walk the reception was at the desk on the ground floor in sight of the door. Manned to 10pm I had an hour to spare due to delay in the train. Any later and I am not sure what would have happened. Lift to third floor worked fine. Door key issued was also good despite having downloaded a digital key to my phone. App had to be deleted as only one key will work. The room itself was good but there was no safe or coffee in the room. The bed was comfortable and I was tired enough to sleep despite having opened the windows to a noisy Main Street. No air conditioning which is why I opened the window. I was there for two nights and would recommend with the consideration s that I have mentioned. Apart from those I would also mention that it was a high step up into the shower. Also the interior light inside the door was on a timer that wasn’t working and black card was sellotaped over it - possible fire risk?"
