Xuexiang Xuejing Jiahua Hotel

Hotel is new and clean as per the trip.com photos, but very poor value at almost $1000 AUD a night (admittedly it was NYE). While new, the quality of the building and amenities is poor, with the TV not even plugged in with no power socket to plug it into even if you wanted to use it (you have to ask for an extension cable...). The bathroom is similar to the local style with the shower and toilet not separated, there is literally a power point right next to the shower. The ladies who clean and service the rooms are very nice and friendly though. It is also located on the 'far end' from the main entrance and so it is a bit of a trek to the bus stop etc.

The location is good just a few step from the Main Street. I stay on the 2nd floor, no elevator but I carry small luggage so no problem. My room : Tatami bed is a bit small, but it is nice and warm with window can open for fresh air. Bathroom is clean and good warm water. I have a pleasant stay at this hotel.
