There is floor heating, it is very warm and the service attitude is good. The bathroom facilities in the room were poor and the shower head was broken. There was nothing you can do about it in the ******* area. Just make do with it for one night. The waiters are all very nice.

We stayed here in July during the horse festival. The hotel was clean and staff were friendly, but there were some significant issues. The shower only had hot water during the afternoon because they relied on a solar hot water heater. The shower did not drain properly. They did not have coffee or even tea at breakfast. The windows were low quality and the room was quite noisy from traffic. The lobby smelled of toxic paint or some kind of epoxy. It was very strong and intense. When we used the heating system , that smell ended up in our room! When we visit again, we will choose another hotel.

HHenrionDourcyThis is a very pleasant homestay and I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit Litang. Tsering is a most welcoming host. She is bilingual Chinese-Tibetan and she was born here. She is warm-hearted, bubbly and always wants you to have a great stay in Litang. She helped me get to the horse races on time, and gave me lots of advice on how to spend my time here. She prepares breakfast in the morning (either Chinese or *******, you can choose). Also, I had ran out of clean clothes and she offered to wash my clothes in her washing machine and handled all the drying and everything, and even delivered it to my door! I could not believe it. She is a great and kind person, quite funny as well.
The amenities are new, everything is clean spic and span. The location is within a walking distance of the city centre. Honestly, what do you want more, at such a reasonable price?

This is my fifth trip to Litang, and this is my first time staying in a youth hostel in Litang. The only bad thing is that I didn't have enough time to stay a few more days. If I remember correctly, the bathrobes, towels and slippers should be in the cabinet on the second floor (picture on p2). It is more convenient to wash up on the third floor because there is a sink. Be careful when pouring hot water, otherwise you will get burned easily. There is also a smart toilet on the third floor that is warm and considerate. It has laundry detergent, washing machine and clothes hangers. Clothes can be dried on the third floor (there is a floor rack in the hall) or in the yard downstairs. However, when the floor heating was turned on, the originally dry air became even drier. I took the hotel toothbrush to brush the humidifier. It was also recommended that everyone brush it. There was a bit of scale. Then the humidifier was not turned on to the maximum. It was recommended to turn it on to the maximum, only half way. , my throat was dry and sore the next day, and I had a nosebleed the next night.
Another thing is the hygiene of this room. As shown in the picture, I was shocked when I saw it. In addition, I found the ball of hair when I lowered my head when I entered the room to use the toilet. I hope the hygiene can be a little more careful.

This is a real ‘homestay’, with a large common space for people to gather (see the picture), super friendly service from everyone working here, beautifully decorated rooms with high quality sanitary and amenities, and an oxygen machine in every room (useful at an altitude of 4000 meters), …
We wanted to go from from Litang to Shangrila and the owner helped us fetch a ride - highly appreciated!

GGuest UserThere was no one at the check-in front desk. It took more than 10 minutes for the front desk to come. Then I checked in, but the front desk never did it. Because the room type we stayed in didn't have it. He told me to move to the mahjong room. I don't agree with being afraid of noise because we went out with our children and worried about their poor sleep. I spent almost ten minutes at the front desk. Then the front desk asked the boss whether they should upgrade our room to have an extra oxygen bar! In the end, the boss didn't agree. Then the front desk ran upstairs to clean the house for us. When I got to the room, the boss had just come out of the room I booked. The room is facing the elevator door. I checked my reservation and requested that it not be at the elevator entrance. The boss finally upgraded the aerobic room for free. In fact, it’s just a few dozen dollars. When I entered the room recently, there was one toothbrush and one teacup missing and no tea bags.

I got drunk with a friend I just met, drank wine and chatted with the host Liu of the youth hostel, cooked a few dishes by myself, grinned for a long time, walked around Litang, visited Genie, and finally The wonderful thing is not the scenery on the road, but the youth hostel and the charming people I met on this road. We booked a mahjong room. After entering, I was really shocked.
