"Séjour d'affaires. Hôtel très agréable. Recommends strongly"

"Very pleasant stay."

"This place was an exceptional discovery. It is described as a hostel, but that really doesn’t convey the quality of the experience. It has the warmth, attention and standards I would associate with an excellent privately managed hotel. The house itself is beautiful, spacious and exceptionally clean. It is obvious that a great deal of care — and, I imagine, considerable investment — has gone into restoring and maintaining it and making it a genuinely welcoming place for guests. What makes it truly outstanding, however, are the people. From the moment I arrived, I was met with friendliness, gentleness and genuine hospitality. Nothing felt impersonal or merely transactional. There was a generosity and kindness in the way I was welcomed that made me feel immediately at home. Friendliness, cleanliness, spaciousness, welcome and kindness — all outstanding. I would return without hesitation and recommend this place wholeheartedly — and, in fact, I will be returning in just ten days’ time"
