"The lake and mountain view from our cosy room for three was genuinely beautiful, and a special mention goes to the brunette waitress with glasses, who was always smiling, helpful, attentive, and brought such a positive energy. That said, our room was in the older part of the hotel and really needs updating, and we were disappointed to find a hair in the bed and that the shower and toilet were not properly clean. We were also disturbed at night by the garden and emergency-exit lights, although the hotel reacted quickly to cover them. Breakfast was decent overall, but we often found small pieces of eggshell in the scrambled eggs and a bit more variety like smoked salmon or avocado would be welcome, while dinner felt too expensive for the quality, so we preferred eating at nearby restaurants."

"I was supposed to go with my husband and son for the May bank holiday, but I didn't even have a chance to go because I booked the last remaining room. I paid the requested deposit on the same day, and the next day I was told that while they were waiting for my payment, they gave the room to other people... without even apologizing for the inconvenience. In fact, they still wanted to be right, as they told me they requested the deposit late in the morning, and ONLY received it that evening. Usually, when the customer confirms the room, they should block it and give themselves time to send the money... that's no way. Mistakes can happen (even if it's the first time something like this has happened to me), but I think it's essential to know how to behave and find a solution. Here, there was total disinterest on the part of the property. As I also told them... I will find another solution that is definitely better."
