Hotel New Saphir Yogyakarta Reviews

This hotel I recommend for travelers. The breakfast was good selection. The hotel was very clean. The pool was clean. The staff was very friendly. Location was good. I will be definitely returning.  the rooms were very nice and comfortable. 

The hotel maintenance needs to be improved. There is unpleasant smell when exiting the elevator and entering the hall on fifth floor. Many cleanliness details inside the room can be improved. But otherwise, this is a nice hotel, close to Lippo Plaza and Siloam Hospital in Yogyakarta.

Amazing experience, good facility, very comfortable hotel for family go go go

Large, somewhat classic hotel with many spacious rooms, some with overdue maintenance or items in need of replacement. A beautiful, grand entrance takes a while to find your way around... this applies to the entire hotel, with so many spaces and places to sit. A beautiful swimming pool, also large with varying depths in a beautiful setting. In my opinion, it's far too underused. The sun shines from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The fitness room is also rarely used; the bike needs replacing. The pool area could use some new furniture. The breakfast is sublime, a fantastic, extensive buffet. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The doormen at the door deserve a new outfit; they're a bit faded from the sun. There's not much to do in the surrounding area. You can walk to Malioboro in 50 minutes... during rush hour, that's almost as fast as a taxi. Also, turn right around the corner into the alleyway to a wonderful, inexpensive warung, or continue on to the beautiful zoo... also a 50-minute walk.

This is indeed a hotel that has been around for a while so the design is a bit old. But I've stayed here twice and overall it's okay. The food is delicious and varied. The rooms are quite spacious and comfortable with complete facilities. Only the swimming pool is not very clean.

The location is considered to be in the city center. There is a shopping mall next door, which is very convenient. If you need a convenience store, there is only a convenience store opposite the shopping mall. It is a bit dangerous to cross the road. The hotel service is very timely and good.
