"We had a lovely stay in Casa Roland Golfto. It was central for us to visit local national parks. The pools are great and you can look out and watch the scarlet macaws, toucans and other wildlife. The staff were very good apart from a mix up with a food order then the kitchen and bar staff went cold on us for the duration of our stay. ( even though we paid the total bill ) Rooms clean, good car park area. Breakfast was very local and not really to our taste."

"A fantastic lodge in wonderful surroundings. Food was the tastiest of all the other lodges we stayed at. Staff were excellent and very helpful in helping with the needs of my wife who had a bad stomach upset. The bird and wildlife walks with Kevin were excellent, and very informative. The self guide bird trails through the forest were delightful. The breakfast fruit juices were so full of flavour."

"I would like to come back here again. Not for television or internet, but certainly for the relaxing water side. Flyingly reachable 300 metres from the end bus San Jose to Golfito. About 1 km from Puerto Jimenez (Corcovado). In the surroundings of Banana Bay there are several places where they like to serve a delicious breakfast or a meal at a (toog) table. Enjoy the water side or rent a kayak in the hotel."
