Royal International Hotel ★★★
"The rooms are spacious and bright; you should book a room with a balcony overlooking the park. The hotel has a restaurant of over 1000 square meters offering a variety of cuisines. It feels like a great place to host conferences. It's one of the best hotels in the area, and it's very safe."
Guyana Marriott Hotel Georgetown ★★★★
"I had a little more expectation but it was just ok. The pool was very small and the breakfast had very limited options."
Grand Coastal Hotel ★★★
"Outside the noisy environment is the dining hall, and the music is loud until midnight. The most important thing is that after 12 o'clock in the middle of the night, the hotel staff (male) entered the room door lock password privately without telling them, and pushed the door directly to enter. It was extremely impolite and more unsafe. When I checked into the hotel, the service staff still didn't look at the room password, but the hotel staff suddenly broke in in the middle of the night."
Carri’s ★★★
Herdmanston Lodge Hotel ★★★
"It's OK, but I still recommend staying in a hotel. There is no elevator and the breakfast is also average."
Jewelz By King's Hotel ★★★★★
"This hands down is the best hotel in Guyana with the best restaurant upstairs, Realm. Vegas style. Just book with trips. Period."
Ideal Executive Suites ★★★
AC Hotel Georgetown Guyana ★★★★
"Great hotel, excellent location, friendly staff, good food, good gym, I definitely recommend it"
Millenium Manor Hotel ★★★

Ramada by Wyndham Princess Georgetown
"I have stayed at Princess Ramada several times, but this is the first time that I had to pay a large amount just to check in a couple of hours early. Never happened before. I was very tired and hot, so I paid - not happy about it."
Pegasus Hotel by the Waterfront
Regency Suites Hotel
"The location of the hotel is in a noisy street that's less than desirable if you're traveling solo. Don't go walking around. The room had an old musky smell, old carpets that clearly haven't been cleaned properly in decades, and the bedsheet had several strands of hair, which led me to believe that they weren't washed properly. There was cobweb under the table.anf I saw a small roach scuttle into a crack in the wall in the bathroom. Needless to say, I'll never stay there again."
Cara Lodge Hotel
"Pleasant Historical hotel in Georgetown. We stayed twice, before and post trip. The rooms are situated around a singular courtyard, which acts as outside dining area, bar and lounge. As a result of this we did encounter noise on our first night from people at the bar as it echoes around the area. It is partially covered but has open areas at the top, hence when It rained heavily one day both the bar and dining were closed as they became very wet – there is indoor dining as well. There is also constant noise from the bugs during the night, you do after a while manage to live with it but if you are a light sleeper perhaps bring ear plugs. The rooms were decent and clean, but on our first visit our shower water was only luke warm. Breakfast was buffet plus served to order, there was adequate choice including local dishes which we enjoyed. Evening meals were a bit hit and miss, our first one Guyanan Curry was lovely, so we ordered it again on our last night, but it wasn’t as nice. I think it depends on who is cooking! Reception on the whole were helpful but we did encounter one rude young man. They kindly stored our excess luggage whilst we were away on our trip. There is a safe in the room and bottled water is provided. You can pay in either local or US dollars and credit cards are taken here. Drinks were reasonably priced with 5 & 8 year old rum around 5US $, increasing for older vintages. They also offer a rum tasting which is in the bar area and can be purchased there, should you wish to try some of the more expensive rums. Overall a very pleasant stay and we would happily return."
Plaza Court Hotel
"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, which has a lovely boutique feel throughout. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help, making the whole experience feel very personal. I was travelling with someone who has multiple allergies, and the team went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, which we really appreciated. The service felt genuinely attentive and thoughtful. The food was excellent, and the breakfast in particular was a highlight, with plenty of fresh fruit and a variety of hot options that changed daily. The lounge area was spacious and relaxing and perfect for unwinding. Our room was very clean, generously sized, and well-maintained, with bottled water provided every day. The beds were extremely comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The hotel is in a good location and we felt very safe throughout our stay. We would definitely recommend this hotel and will absolutely return next time. The Massey family, Uk"
