Leonardo Hotel Newcastle Quayside ★★★★
"The staff were very helpful, professional & friendly. My room was excellent just the job. The fruit tea was great and so was the bathroom, tv and lighting. I went to a gig in Gateshead at the Central. It would also be excellent for the Glasshouse. I look forward to staying again."
Holiday Inn Express NEWCASTLE GATESHEAD by IHG ★★★
"The soundproofing was quite good, but the hairdryer was broken and the shower drain was a bit clogged. Trip.com stated the hotel had air conditioning, but the staff said it never has. We stayed during a heatwave, luckily the hotel provided a fan in the room."
Rivers Hotel ★★★
"I booked this hotel for me and partner for valentines weekend, I asked for a river view room, which they charged me a extra 10.00 on top of the price of hotel, when we got to our room 2011, it had a window which was to high to see the river view, so you had srand up at the window if you wanted to look out, then when went for a shower the thermostat was broken on the shower which scolded me, so couldnt get a shower , explained all this at check out, lady wasnt interested"
Ramada Encore by Wyndham Newcastle-Gateshead ★★★
"The room this time I stay is quite bigger than my last stay, it was good. Down point would be the dirty kettle, really really dirty, hopefully it will get the deep clean. The hotel staff is alright, nothing stand out. Overall it was a good place to stay."
Travelodge Newcastle Whitemare Pool ★★★
"Staff were very friendly but the hotel definitely needs updating in the rooms and out side would not recommend this hotel to anyone"
Eslington Manor ★★★
"Dinner was great and the hotel breakfast was also good. I booked a family room and when we arrived we were upgraded to a family suite, which was great Breakfast is English breakfast, very filling 😊"

Premier Inn Newcastle (Metro Centre)
"I stayed in this hotel last night, whilst up in Gateshead for a conference with work. Lovely clean, modern hotel with some really friendly staff. The bedroom was airy, spacious and clean. Very comfortable bed and lovely shower. There was a window I could open in my room, which was perfect, as I can get too hot at times. There was also air conditioning. Tea making facilities and hair dryer in the room. I had breakfast and evening meal whilst staying there and both were delicious. Loved the ambience of the room, lovely variety of music playing and a nice chill out after food. Staff couldn't do enough for you and nice and friendly. This is the Ideal location for the Metro Centre and Newcastle and it's free parking when you type registration number plate into the computer in the hotel. Highly recommend to stay in this Premier Inn."
Ravensworth Arms by Chef & Brewer Collection
"Service was brilliant as expected..breakfast was lovely...room was spot on"
The Gibside Hotel
"Very affordable clean and tidy hotel plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from Easy access to attractions and would use this hotel again"
Travelodge Gateshead Hotel
"A Travelodge is a Travelodge but the staff here made this stay a truly lovely experience. Everyone I chatted to while staying here was incredible: friendly, helpful, good humoured and always went the extra mile when we needed. Otherwise, yeah, we booked knowing the place was being done up but our stay wasn't impacted by that at all. Comfy beds, good base location to explore the area from. Asda and Metro Centre within easy walking distance. Very reasonable price, especially since we booked quite short notice!"
