Ca’ Barbini is the perfect destination for a peaceful, relaxing getaway, with breathtaking views overlooking Lake Garda. Our room was spacious, clean, and exceptionally comfortable. Each morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast featuring a wonderful variety of fresh options. The elevated dinner service was equally impressive, made even more special by the stunning sunset views. The infinity pool was clutch on a hot summer day-and whoever does the landscaping here does an impeccable job! One of the most convenient amenities was the 12-hour shuttle service, which provides a quick five-minute ride directly into town. Thank you Giovanni! What truly set this experience apart, however, was the outstanding hospitality from the entire team. A special thank you to Claudia and Roberto, who went above and beyond to make our family feel welcome and cared for throughout our stay. Their attention to detail and genuine kindness made all the difference. We wish the entire team continued success and look forward to seeing you again very soon!"

"A room partitioned with a half-wall and a desk is called a suite? We forgot our toothbrushes and contacted the hotel, only to be told they don't provide them. The value for money is poor. There's no lake view, and the shower drain is clogged; the water overflows after a short time. Our check-out time is 10 AM, which is unreasonable. Our daughter was prevented from entering the hotel when she came to visit, told it's a hotel rule that outsiders aren't allowed. Utterly absurd! The parking lot has very few spaces and is terrible; it's extremely difficult to park without considerable driving skill. The front desk said their own boss gets scratched three times a year driving here. It's unacceptable that a hotel with such facilities and service can charge nearly 2600 yuan per night!"

"Stayed as a family of 4 half board. The facilities are great if you enjoy activities, as there is plenty to do. Padel, tennis & golf on site (for an extra charge - but cheaper than in the UK to hire a padel court). Always sunbeds available at the pool. The gym is a little dated, but perfectly useable. The actual hotel is great - also a little dated but this did not affect our stay at all. It is kept spotlessly clean, our rooms were cleaned everyday. Air conditioning in the rooms was good. All the food we had in the restaurant was good. You choose from 3 starters & 3 mains the day before for your next evening meal. We found there was something for everyone & there is always bread & a salad buffet as well as sides to go with the meals and a dessert buffet, so even if you are a fussy eater, you shouldn’t go hungry! It actually meant we tried some foods we probably wouldn’t have otherwise. Breakfast had plenty of choice & is buffet style. If you do not want the evening meal you can have lunch in the restaurant or by the pool as an alternative. We did this one day so we could enjoy a meal in the town. Food by the pool bar is very reasonable. The location of the hotel is about a 30 min walk into town. We did this several times & quite enjoyed the walk. We also caught the shuttle a few times & even when busy, we didn’t have to wait very long. Things to note - we like walking but the closest supermarket is about 2km away on the way into town, so if self catering, just something to be aware of if you do not have a car. You can buy supplies in the town & take the shuttle back up. All the staff were friendly & helpful. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay & liked being out of the town, with a fabulous view of the lake & all of the facilities at Poiano. Garda town is beautiful & a good base for trips to other towns around the lake & the public bus to Verona."

"Awful. Family of 4 booked rooms Near each other and they placed our kids in another side of hotel. They were unable to get us closer together. Rooms are dated and worn. Emergency exits are left open for anyone to enter. Ants infesting rooms. Dinner was beyond disappointing. How this is a 4 star rating is beyond me."

"We stayed here for a couple of nights. The apartment itself was very comfortable and modern. There is a gentleman who comes around in the evening from a local bakery and takes your order, which will be outside your door in the morning when you wake up with delicious, freshly baked goods. There is a restaurant at the top of the hill, but it is very basic. The only downside was that the swimming pool had signs saying 'silence,' and one particular woman, whom I assume lives in the complex, was complaining if the children made noise in the pool, being very angry and aggressive about this. So if you're traveling with children, they are not allowed to make noise in the pool. Good luck with that one!"

"This is a lovely little hotel, it is very basic but it is exceptionally clean. The restaurant on we were in is quite small but never intended to stay in other than to sleep in. They have a fair sized bathroom with walk in shower, big mirror in both bathroom and bedroom area. They do have a hair dryer but it’s not powerful. The beds were comfortable and cleaners always tidied and cleaned the room. No kettle/tea/coffee supplies which would make it even better but we were allowed to pay for tea/coffee in the cafe and take it up. Perhaps would be better if guests in hotel got tea/coffee free? Breakfast was continental and the choice was huge, definitely the highlight. All staff polite and helpful cafe/restaurant can get really busy."

"Awful hotel, only the location is5/5. One man (owner?) is unpolite: he loves german turists but other are like second class turists. He yells which is not good customer service. There should be more english instructions in the hotel. If u need breakfast box be ready that he dont want to give u that. Rooms are oldish and one buf I saw there. If u go there keep your clothes inside luggage. Cleaners dosent come everyday and they dont want to do their job like chaching towels or vacuuming the floor. I paid over 800e for one week and should know this before that cleaners are just waiting your tip. Ps. If u dont want to be cleaner change your career. Its your problem"

"Area is nice, pool and restaurant is fine. The kids playground is not suitable any more. The houses did see better times ... Kitchen and bathroom is very, very rudimentary and old. Although the furniture and the beds. No Mosquito nets at the windows and no ac. It's too expensive for that level of comfort. The people were friendly and the minimarket is not over expensive."
