Just returned home from 7 nights here, booked through Tui. Hotel immaculately clean, the housekeepers work very hard, it smells lovely in the hotel. My parents had a superior side view lake room and i had a single room. Waiting staff very friendly and polite, big thanks to Vito and his team. We had a good laugh with waiter Emmanuelle and found Maira to be lovely in the bar. The waiters take an interest in your daily activities which is nice. Large breakfast buffet selection with egg chef. Delicious evening meal, buffet salad to start, then 1st, 2nd courses followed by dessert. I am a fussy eater but found something on the menu every night. On our last night they laid on a special buffet evening where the chefs cooked the most amazing carbonara in front of us, it was so tasty! Pool area great, plenty of sunbeds. 2 nights live music with singer with acoustic guitar. Location is great, 5 minute walk down to Garda town and ferry port. The driveway is steep but a taxi drops you off and collects you with your luggage. There are roughly 30 steps, which is fine. Afternoon tea daily at 4pm was a nice treat. The bottle of water replaced daily in the room was much appreciated on the warmer days. Felt very comfortable here and was luxury to be adults only.

Have stayed around the lake many times, but in particular this hotel is our 12th stay. And we wouldn’t stay anywhere else. We have already booked our stay for next year with friends. 😃 The hotel is ideally situated for walking into town and for the ferry terminal for getting around the lake and exploring many of the different towns. every member of the team at this hotel should be commended. From reception to Restaurant to bar staff to the cleaning ladies and not forgetting the night watchman on reception, who was such a gentleman. We only had dinner in the hotel one evening this time, but the food is superb as always. Breakfast has a great choice and the View of the lake is amazing. If I had one niggle it would have nothing to do with the staff or hotel. There are clear signs for guests not to reserve sunbeds. SADLY there are still guests who think it’s okay to do this and to not abide by what is being asked of them of the hotel. Shame on them. ☹️

We stayed at the hotel some 10 years ago, and both the location and the hotel itself meant that we always said we would return, and despite never going on holiday to the same place twice, we are so glad we did! The location means that we could walk across the road, hop on a boat, to go to any number of other town around the lake. The hotel, if anything, is even better: the rooms, the reception, the food and restaurant, and most especially the staff - I cannot fault any of it! Thanks for looking after so well.

This hotel is clean. We had a side lake view which was beautiful. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a safe and a fridge in the room there are welcome drinks in the fridge. Evening meal is 7 to 8.30. First course is salad which you serve yourself. This goes away at 7.30. The next two courses are from the menu (small portions)Lastly, serve your self sweet. At approx 4pm a buffet of sandwiches and cakes are set out in reception. We bought toasties at lunch time when we were in. But there is a proper menu which we didn't know about until the day we left. 🙁. Check out is 10.30 but if your flight is later in the day, they have a shower room you can book the day before.

Visited for a week in July. This was our second visit to the hotel, and we were very much looking forward to returning for a much needed holiday. Since visiting last year, there appears to have been a few changes. Firstly, when we visited last year there used to be an information leaflet on the breakfast table, with suggestions for the day ie, ideas as to where to visit/weather etc, sadly this no longer exists. We felt this was a nice touch. Also there is no breakfast menu, again unlike last year when you could order from a menu that offered other varied options such as poached eggs and toast, salmon dishes etc. Whilst we understand that the breakfast offered was mostly of a good choice, dependant upon what time you visited the restaurant some food items needed replenishing. Not all staff friendly. Reception staff sadly we found to be rude. We found this to be the case when I asked reception for a receipt after requesting and paying the bill midway into the holiday, the staff member was insistent that i didn't require a receipt despite my continued asking, she stated that the paper bill i had showing the amount due was my receipt!!! I tried to explain that a new bill should be issued to us showing a nil balance. Also, reception late on the evening before our departure the next morning, telephoned our room asking us to visit reception in order to pay the small balance due of which we had accrued over the remainder of the week, as frequent holiday travellers we have never been asked to do this as usually one pays what is owed the day of departure when handing over the key. Also, unless you visit the restaurant early, choice is minimal as not all dishes are replenished. On a positive note resturant member Vito was fabulous and did his best to offer some alternatives. We had also upgraded our room before we arrived as my husband was bitten badly by mosquitos last year and we knew the room initially offered was close to large trees, so we decided to pay extra to move (on our second day as no availability until then), of which we was excited about. Sadly, our excitement was shortlived, the room smelt heavily of sewage resulting in a second room move. Finally, on our third room move we felt we could finally settle. A thankyou shoutout to housekeeping as our room was always cleaned well daily. Although overall we enjoyed our week, we will not be returning.

This hotel is nice, small, clean, the food is good but small portions. The first course is serve your self salad. Then choose 2 courses on the menu. Last serve your self sweets. Evening meal is from 7 -8.30 but the salad is taken away at 8.30. They like you to arrive 7-7.30. Next door there's building work being carried out on a villa.

Our first visit to Lake Garda and what a great hotel we choose to stay in.The beautiful view from the balcony , the friendly helpful staff and the delicious food. Our only concern was the air con in the bedroom which was not fit for purpose and so we were given an electric fan. We would definitely stay there again.

We have just returned from a fabulous holiday in The Excelsior Le Terrazze in the beautiful town of Garda. The accommodation, staff, hotel location, facilities and food all contributed to a wonderful experience throughout our stay.

We have just returned from this hotel, (6 of us aged between 20 and 82) and cannot recommend it enough! The location is perfect, 5min walk to the ferry and 10mins to the centre of Garda. We travelled with my parents one of which has mobility issues so we were using a wheelchair, the entrance to the hotel is steep but there are steps to support this, so it wasn’t a problem! Being so close to everything was ideal especially with it being so warm! We stayed in room 406 and 408 which are at the top of the hotel with huge balconies and beautiful views of the lake. The hotel was spotlessly clean and all of the staff(bar, reception, dinner and breakfast service and the cleaners ) were lovely and ran all aspects of the service to a high standard. The food exceeded our expectations, breakfast was particularly good with lots of options. We cannot wait to return! My only small bit of feedback is that the rooms had no iron which would have been helpful ( they do offer a laundry and ironing service but sometimes you just want to run an iron over quickly) and the balconies/terrace which are huge seemed very empty with a small bistro table, umbrella and 2 lay down loungers, it would have been great if they had more furniture on them so that the huge space could be used better! But both of these are minor points as we really enjoyed our stay.

Well where do I start? Our very first time in Lake Garda and we couldn't possibly have chosen a better Hotel. Our stay was absolutely amazing. The Hotel was perfect for us, stylish, modern and spotlessly clean. Okay there is some road noise but it didn't bother us at all neither did the renovation work going on next door. If you have booked, please don't worry. The service was exceptional and we would particularly like to thank Sara, Vito and Elise ..so warm and friendly. Food also amazing..Italian night is once a week and as we stayed for 2 weeks..got to experience it twice! We have already booked to return next year. Thank you for an amazing stay.

It was our first trip to Lake Garda, and from start to finish our holiday was just perfect! We travelled with TUI and our experience overall was great. Our flight was on time and the staff on board the plane were really lovely and engaging. When we arrived at the hotel we were immediately struck by just how beautiful the setting was. The views over Lake Garda are just breath taking! We had upgraded our room to a 'lake view' and it was worth every penny! Before travelling, TUI made us aware of some minor building works that were happening nearby the hotel, and we did briefly consider changing our plans. I’m honestly so glad we didn’t. We didn’t hear or see anything disruptive during our stay, and it had absolutely no impact on our holiday! I am so glad we didn’t miss out on such an incredible experience. We booked half board, and the hotel’s food is just outstanding – dishes that were fresh, beautifully cooked, and full of local flavour - not to mention the service we received was just exceptional. Every member of staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and were especially patient while I practised my Italian when trying to order from the menu! I had also reached out to the hotel before arriving to tell them that it was husband’s birthday on the day that we were leaving. They gave me lots of ideas on how they could still help make it special for him and during out last evening dinner before checking out, they brought out a slice of cake with a candle and a glass of prosecco for each of us to celebrate. It was such a thoughtful touch and it was incredibly appreciated! My husband and I both agree this is probably one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in when it comes to quality, service, and overall experience. This hotel is a gem, and we’d recommend it in a heartbeat! You will not be disappointed!

Excellent location just 5 mins from the ferries & into Garda town. We couldn't fault anything, we loved it, such a beautiful hotel. Staff were really friendly, it was so relaxing to have breakfast on the terrace We were half board so dinner was included. The food was delicious, a different 4 course menu every night. We got to try things we hadn't eaten before like guinea fowl, cuttlefish & veal. There was a selection of wine, white, rose and red wine to go with your meal. If you bought a bottle and didn't finish it they would store it for the next night. I recommend the Bardolino wines. Ahmed was our waiter a lot of the time, he was so friendly & helpful. There is live music on the terrace on a Tuesday and Friday (in high season). On the other evenings it would of been nice to have some background music. There's plenty going on in the town so we wandered down a few nights. Our room had a side lake view, it was better than I hoped for. We got the evening sun and it a spectacular lake view, nothing blocked our view. The room was small but we were not in it long. The bed and pillows were really comfortable. Lots of lovely smelling toiletries. A nice touch is they give you some as a gift on departure . We didn't want to leave. Thank you to all the staff who made our trip so special .

What a lovely hotel, staff are very nice, very helpful & friendly. The rooms are lovely & clean and very comfortable. The only thing i would say they could do with was different pillows. But that's only my opinion that might be fine for other quests. The pool is lovely over looking the lake.such a beautiful view of garda.. Nice bar area with nice staff. The restaurant for breakfast was great. Lots of choice & delicious. We didn't eat in the hotel in the evening, as we like to walk down into the town to eat. Which was only a 5-minute walk down. But we were told the food was very good & going off the breakfast, I'm sure it was.. Would definitely recommend this hotel & would definitely stay here again..
