Stayed here 2024/11/22-24 in Room 8646 a "Business 2-bed Room". I am from Quanzhou in Fujian and stayed here with a friend from Dongguan to celebrate the first anniversary of the South African ownership of Charlie's Steakhouse and Grill in the centre next door. The room was quite spacious and clean. The beds were of really good quality soft but firm (not like a plank like many other hotel beds...). The bathroom was also very clean and good. I stayed before in a Vienna Hotel in Shaoguan and there it was also so good! Their price is very reasonable. The front desk did not understand English but was quite helpful through a translator. I can really recommend this Vienna Hotel!

The staff was very helpful and kind. But the whole hotel smelled of cigarettes. People openly smoked in the hallway.  While my room was supposed to be r non-smoking, it still smelled as smoke circulated via the HVAC system.

Good points: friendly staff. One of them used her personal phone number to help my access wi fi. Much appreciated. There is a convenience store next to it and lots of food places around. Bad points: carpet of the room is too old and feels dirty. The breakfast choices are poor.
