"The location was great. Walking right or left, you can go to three grocery stores and quite a few restaurants. This hotel has the best staff. All requested were immediately taken care of. I am a breakfast person, and after the third day, the staff cooking eggs would start on my eggs and take bacon, and make it crispy. I would occasionally go to the third floor and sit on the terrace. The bar was never staff, but a waiter would come up and take orders. My room was large and spacious. Some people talked about the older decor, but I look for cleanliness. My room was very clean, and bottled water was put in the fridge daily. I could write a lot more but try it for yourself. They are updating the property."

Tlotlo Hotel & Conference Centre

"Stayed one night while transiting in Gaborone. The hotel is a little off-site. If there is no other travel needs, the hotel is still good. The environment is beautiful, the swimming pool is clean, and the hotel's restaurant is worth recommending. The price is moderate and the taste is very good. In particular, the breakfast is very rich, and every staff member encountered is very enthusiastic and responsible. The hotel provides free airport pick-up and drop-off service"

Peermont Walmont at the Grand Palm, Gaborone Hotels in Gaborone

Peermont Walmont at the Grand Palm, Gaborone

"😔 I never thought I'd write a post like this... Yesterday, I went to Deep Klean Professionals Car Wash at the Grand Palm Resort — a place I've trusted for its safe, secure location inside the hotel grounds and the usually respectful, lovely guys who work there. I arrived, parked, sat down, and waited like any normal customer. Then a more expensive car pulled up... and everything changed. The 2 guys who were free or almost done with their cars when i arrived completely forgot about me and every other customer who was already there. They dropped everything and rushed to serve the more expensive car first — outside only, while the owner sat comfortably with his girlfriend ( i have zero issues with the driver & his partner - they were just clients ; the burden of duty lies on the car wash patrons not the client) I waited patiently, hoping they'd get back to my car soon. They didn't. Not even an acknowledgment. Not a single word. I felt completely invisible, disrespected, and belittled — like my car, my time, and my dignity didn't matter because someone else drove something more expensive.Whats worse is that ive only paid the standard fee once; every other time ive made it a point to leave a tip. This was one of the most hurtful customer experiences I've had in a very long time. It broke my heart because I genuinely liked supporting this local business. But after yesterday, I can never go back there again. To the boys at Deep Klean: Basic respect and fairness shouldn't depend on the type of car someone drives. First come, first served should still mean something. I'll be leaving honest 1-star reviews everywhere I can, because no one deserves to feel this small as a paying customer. If you're looking for a car wash in Gaborone, please think twice before going here. Your feelings and your time matter too. Has anyone else experienced something similar? Let's support businesses that treat every customer with dignity. #DeepKleanProfessionals #GrandPalmGaborone #CustomerService #Gaborone"

African Home Hotel Hotels in Gaborone

African Home Hotel

"The hotel is perfectly located in Gaborone, close to all the major places and sites worth seeing in the Capital. A walking distance to the Three Dikgosi Monument and Fields Mall. I liked this convenience that the hotel offered. The hotel also has plenty of rooms, over 14 and has a Spa, conference venues and a restaurant. There is also a pool inside and the main entrance is guarded with security personnel. Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by a gentleman named Sebalo, who also adjusted my booking to a room that he recommended, has better Wifi connectivity, to which I agreed. I appreciated this as the Wifi in the Kgosi room was good during my stay. I also liked that I had covered parking, which I didn't need to pre-book, located close to the room. I also had a decent breakfast for all the days here, prepared promptly and with care by a lady called Violet. I welcomed this value for money aspect to my stay. She was very friendly, warm and tried by all means to vary the breakfast options and presentation on all three days which I appreciated. The room was spacious, had adequate lighting, Aircon, LCD tv, coffee station and kettle and enough mirrors all round. There were also enough bins in the room, an extra blanket and the bedding was clean. There was a desk and chair, which ensured that I could spend some time catching up on my reading in the room. There was no safe and I had to arrange my own twin plug, which was not an issue. The toilet was separate from the shower which I liked and there was shampoo available. Clean towels were on offer, regularly.replaced and room service was offered. The hotel was peaceful and I did not experience any major distractions. I also liked that I paid once I got to the hotel and that no deposit was withheld. Where I think the hotel could have scored more for me was in the following - there was no info-welcome sheet in the room that orientated me to the rules of the hotel, wifi password, breakfast times, lunch or dinner, important emergency numbers and nearby sites worth seeing for instance which is common in most hotels. I had to ask many of these and Sebalo was of assistance. I feel that the hymn sheet would have made it much easier. I found a booklet about sites to see in Gaborone close to the reception area, which I only saw and made use of during breakfast. Those booklets can be placed in the rooms as a suggestion. The bed was not comfortable at all for me and there were some small insects here and there in the room which was not pleasant to see. This is where the hotel dropped points from me. I believe that if the hotel works on these few items, it could do better. However, the service I received from Sebalo and Violet, together with the convenience of the location, shaded parking, breakfast and good wifi in the room, made the stay decent overall. "

The Grand Aria Hotel and Conference Centre Hotels in Gaborone

The Grand Aria Hotel and Conference Centre

"I had a generally comfortable stay at this hotel, but certain aspects made me feel uneasy. One major concern was security—there's no key card required to access the lifts to the rooms, which wouldn’t be an issue if the front desk were always staffed. However, there were times when no one was present. On my first night, I returned to find several drunk men lingering near the entrance, which was unsettling as a woman traveling alone. The food was decent, with a variety of options, but I found it overpriced for the quality. I was often the only person in the dining room, which made for a somewhat odd atmosphere. If you're looking for a better dining experience, I highly recommend the Indian restaurant next door at Westgate Mall—delicious food at more reasonable prices. That said, the hotel has its highlights. The grounds are stunning, and the infinity pool is a perfect spot to watch the sunset. A special thanks to Tebogo, Mr. Charles, and Dapney for their warm hospitality—they truly made me feel welcome."

Hilton Garden Inn Gaborone ★★★★
"We were met late at night at the airport by a lovely gentleman called Mpho, he was very attentive from start to finish. Check in was smooth with Tebogo and relatively fast. In the morning breakfast was great, great mix of western and local foods were on display. Staff were very friendly and approachable throughout our stay. The only slight improvement I would recommend would be having a shower mat as the showers were rather slippery as well as a shower curtain or doors."

"I came from Johannesburg slept here for a few night, rooms are clean, service was very good and the pool was great. The heat is too much but you have the pool to jump into or you have the choice is that your rooms are air conditioned, you have room service to order from, and the restaurant has TV and the bar is also available."

Peermont Mondior Hotel ★★★
"The hotel is located next to a university, so the surrounding area is convenient. The restaurant downstairs is lively on weekends. However, the hotel system had some problems. They insisted there was no reservation for me even though I had already been booked to my room. I waited for a long time; the manager couldn't find the order and didn't offer to let me rest, just made me wait. It took almost an hour. Overall, the room was okay. The shuttle driver arrived at the parking lot, but didn't come to the door to wait or call out to me. The car was parked quite far away, so I didn't know it was a hotel vehicle. Ten minutes later, the hotel called to say I wasn't there. In short, the overall service needs improvement."
