Avani Gaborone Resort & Casino
"Enjoyed my stay at Avani, Gaborone. Check in was great took a bit long but was early arrival and checked in without extra charge. Reception friendly and staff always greet you and make you feel welcome. Its central and safe and room clean and bed comfortable. Service at bar and pool was bit slow, but friendly and helpful saff. Thank you Management and Team"
Gaborone Hotel
"Amazing Staff, awesome welcoming and sparkling clean. Very nice location and perfect for a long stay"
Peermont Mondior Hotel
"The hotel is located next to a university, so the surrounding area is convenient. The restaurant downstairs is lively on weekends. However, the hotel system had some problems. They insisted there was no reservation for me even though I had already been booked to my room. I waited for a long time; the manager couldn't find the order and didn't offer to let me rest, just made me wait. It took almost an hour. Overall, the room was okay. The shuttle driver arrived at the parking lot, but didn't come to the door to wait or call out to me. The car was parked quite far away, so I didn't know it was a hotel vehicle. Ten minutes later, the hotel called to say I wasn't there. In short, the overall service needs improvement."
Town Lodge Gaborone
"The Town Lodge is very social and enjoyable. The stay was fantastic and comfortable. Service on arrival was excellent."
Protea Hotel Gaborone Masa Square
"This was "base" for an in-and-out business trip to Botswana. Being central and offering a complimentary airport shuttle, it ticks a lot of boxes. The staff were professional and the check-in was seamless. A spacious room with a convenient work nook helped settle in. Room service was a little on the slow side (but I did order quite late after getting to the hotel around 8pm). My pasta was filling and tasty, as was the breakfast the following morning - the spread was everything you'd expect from a hotel buffet. I see quite a few negative reviews, but that was not the case with my experience. Perhaps there's a better/quieter side of the hotel to stay, as the square housed a bar and restaurant. The nearby bar was an opportune venue for some impromptu customer drinks, so there's certainly an upside to its proximity. I won't hesitate to book for future business trips."
The Capital Guest House
"I got my taxi from the airport and he couldn’t find the house. it was 4:00. I text the property owner but never got response. i just found the Hilton water discussing with driver where are you going tofu d place to eat and walk to. You are in the Bush he said. so i was afraid and beer went."
Aquarian Tide Hotel
"Cozy place, good for business meetings unfortunately we found the pool dirty and couldn’t use it, that was the one down side of our trip!"

Tlotlo Hotel & Conference Centre
"Horrible service, not clean. They couldn’t find my booking when I arrived and also the hotel is closing down in 2 months so we were the only guests there."
The Grand Aria Hotel and Conference Centre
"Thank you for your response. I find it interesting that instead of addressing the more serious concerns, like the mould in the shower and lack of privacy due to the damaged curtains, you chose to focus on disputing whether I asked for basic necessities like a plug and a blanket. This response suggests that you’re okay with those cleanliness and privacy issues, which should have been your first priority as a hotel. To clarify, I did visit the front desk to request a plug because the phone was not working, and I was told none were available. I was even offered the option to purchase one at my own expense, which I declined. It’s disappointing that instead of owning these shortcomings, you chose to deflect the blame onto your guest. Lastly, basic amenities like blankets, plugs and a functional safe should be in place before a guest arrives, regardless of the hour. I hope you take this feedback seriously and work on improving the overall guest experience, especially in areas that directly impact comfort and safety. Please refrain from misrepresenting the situation. I gave an honest review based on what I encountered during my stay - exactly as you requested. "
Peermont Walmont at the Grand Palm, Gaborone
"Worst hotel ever. Didn't even let me know how much it costed until I showed up and it costed.. 32,569 THOUSAND dollars. This place isn't even WORTH or LOOKS like 32,569 THOUSAND dollars. It looks like a ran down school that they turned into a hotel. Never coming back."
African Home Hotel
"The hotel is perfectly located in Gaborone, close to all the major places and sites worth seeing in the Capital. A walking distance to the Three Dikgosi Monument and Fields Mall. I liked this convenience that the hotel offered. The hotel also has plenty of rooms, over 14 and has a Spa, conference venues and a restaurant. There is also a pool inside and the main entrance is guarded with security personnel. Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by a gentleman named Sebalo, who also adjusted my booking to a room that he recommended, has better Wifi connectivity, to which I agreed. I appreciated this as the Wifi in the Kgosi room was good during my stay. I also liked that I had covered parking, which I didn't need to pre-book, located close to the room. I also had a decent breakfast for all the days here, prepared promptly and with care by a lady called Violet. I welcomed this value for money aspect to my stay. She was very friendly, warm and tried by all means to vary the breakfast options and presentation on all three days which I appreciated. The room was spacious, had adequate lighting, Aircon, LCD tv, coffee station and kettle and enough mirrors all round. There were also enough bins in the room, an extra blanket and the bedding was clean. There was a desk and chair, which ensured that I could spend some time catching up on my reading in the room. There was no safe and I had to arrange my own twin plug, which was not an issue. The toilet was separate from the shower which I liked and there was shampoo available. Clean towels were on offer, regularly.replaced and room service was offered. The hotel was peaceful and I did not experience any major distractions. I also liked that I paid once I got to the hotel and that no deposit was withheld. Where I think the hotel could have scored more for me was in the following - there was no info-welcome sheet in the room that orientated me to the rules of the hotel, wifi password, breakfast times, lunch or dinner, important emergency numbers and nearby sites worth seeing for instance which is common in most hotels. I had to ask many of these and Sebalo was of assistance. I feel that the hymn sheet would have made it much easier. I found a booklet about sites to see in Gaborone close to the reception area, which I only saw and made use of during breakfast. Those booklets can be placed in the rooms as a suggestion. The bed was not comfortable at all for me and there were some small insects here and there in the room which was not pleasant to see. This is where the hotel dropped points from me. I believe that if the hotel works on these few items, it could do better. However, the service I received from Sebalo and Violet, together with the convenience of the location, shaded parking, breakfast and good wifi in the room, made the stay decent overall. "
Tlokweng Rose Garden Guesthouse
Regent Select Hotel
"Arrived on a Thursday & the most annoying thing was how my surname was spelled incorrectly! Even after trying to correct them, they kept on calling me with a wrong name. Secondly, they gave me a room which door couldn't open unless a special key is used, why was it not checked 1st? As if that's not enough while out, i was moved to a different room with a smelly bathroom!"
Indaba Lodge Gaborone
"perfect place to stay with family and friends. food was exceptional. it was unfortunate we could not use the pool as it was raining. "
Room50Two
"Very clear and comfortable, great location, easy access to Jack Gem, Very friendly and helpful stuff"
Oasis Motel
"First of all the room was of maximum quality,it was clean nice and spacious. Its conducive for a family outing since it had all accessories for a self catering stay. The bar fridge and linen completed my expectations. It would be a great honor to once again stay at Oasis.I would recommend anyone wanting a cozy stay to try Oasis, especially room quality that are offering a perfect sleep"
Phakalane Golf Estate Hotel & Convention Centre
"Stayed for a business trip and while the greeting at the front desk was cordial and polite the true state became apparent when experiencing the hotel and services. On arrival the shower didn’t work, then, once fixed, scalded the user (others complained of this as well) room make-up was missed, access card kept failing - even when kept far from the phone, meals and drinks are expensive and plain. Some small animals to view on the course but they are damaging it - nature at work."
