Two options to eat dinner. At the pool bar / disco in the winter cold or in your room. No restaurant facilities available.

The overall stay was excellent. We arrived as a large group and the front desk staff accommodated us quickly and with grace and patience. I was very pleased with how they handled our chaotic arrival. My room was large, clean, and well-appointed. Very happy with the stay and if business ever takes me to Gaborone again, I will definitely stay at the Avani.

The hotel standards have gone to the dogs. The bar fridge in the room didn't work. The location of the Aircon is too near the desk. Toiletries are not refreshed. Corridor carpets are old and wrinkled and not cleaned. Public toilets smell, etc

The passageway was filthy with carpets that have not been washed for a very long time from the looks of it. Dirty blinds with dead butterflies and bugs on the window seals. I reported this to the front desk and they did nothing about it until I checked out days later. I took pictures of this from day 1 and 4 days later, situation was still exactly the same.

Avoid, sad pool area, not looked After hotel in need of renovation, terrible food. Nothing around the hotel. Better stay in Downtown.

Staying at Avani Hotel was good. It's clean and quiet. Their Wifi connection is very good. And their breakfast was indeed well served.

The sleep was good. Rooms were nice and clean. It was quite no disturbances. Everything in the room was well arranged and tidy. The hotel areas were good the pool side, service by the restaurant outside and the resort area

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your hotel. While I chose Avani for its reputation for quality, my experience was far below expectations. The rooms at the back of the property, particularly Room 320, are in urgent need of attention. The carpet had an unpleasant smell, which made the room feel uncomfortable. The safe was not functional, forcing me to carry my valuables everywhere—a significant inconvenience. Moreover, the shower was a frustrating experience. The water temperature controls were erratic, with the water fluctuating between extremely hot and cold, making it difficult to have a comfortable shower. I chose Avani expecting high standards of comfort and service, but these issues left me deeply disappointed. I urge the management to address these concerns promptly to ensure future guests have a better experience.

Your reception team are wonderful - Tumiso, Marleen and Tebogo. Your food is good and I would have rated you a 5, BUT for your banqueting people. We had a small training group over 2 days and we were told we are in the Mahogany room. I arrived early on the Wednesday and saw ABSA in there and it was ideal - small, cozy and bright. On Thursday we are told we have been changed to the conference center - a huge room for just 18 people, dark and dingy and very difficult to hear each other due to the size of the room. I ask why we were moved - they cannot tell me!? We endure the day and request to be in Mahogany on the second day and explain how we want the room set up - no problem we are told. The next day the room is not set up exactly as we requested as the old team did not tell the new team what to do. Most unprofessional.

My stay with my family in Avani was ok. Had problems with the wifi, restaurant and bar/room service. But overall my stay was very good.
