"This hotel is in a beautiful little resort a few kilometres from Fussen and the castles. The hotel overlooks a beautiful lake and although busy in the daytime, quiet at night. The room was very clean, nicely decorated and had one of the biggest baths I've ever used. We paid extra for a lake view. We could see the lake but only from a side view. We ate in the Italian restaurant downstairs. Which did very nice food. The restaurant staff are also the ones who check you in. They are friendly and helpful. My only criticism was we were not told we were going to be charged to park in the garage. It was difficult to park it has about 8 tiny spaces, we didn't bump our car, but I expect many do trying to park here. If we had been told we were paying to use this garage, even though it was only a few euros, we would of chosen to park elsewhere in town. I would recommend this lovely hotel though, good value, in a beautiful location next to the lake. "

"Exceptional hotel value and quality. It’s an easy short level walk from the station. Fantastic staff with n check in and at the restaurant. The breakfast was great variety but the hot food counter had not been switched on so was all good. This was quickly replaced so no harm done. Will be back again next Chinese new year Local information on the castle times and bus travel were all good and explained. Very happy"

"We got assigned a suite on the 5th floor that was really spacious. There was even a sauna room, which we didn’t take advantage of. The elevator from the 4th floor to the 5th was old and needed attention. Breakfast was decent. The staff was nice and luggage storage was free of charge. The location is wonderful! Right by the Bahnhof! The room came with a Füssen city pass for each guess, meaning you can take the local transportation for free for two days. We used the passes for visiting the Neuschwanstein castle (Bus #78), as well as leaving Füssen (as far as Kaufbeuren is free)."

"After having visited 3 hotels on the romantic route classified 4 stars and a 3 star in Augsburg where we had very good services we were surprised when entering the room: small, old-fashioned, entrance door with key leaving something to be desired as to safety (visible screws). The television remote control did not work as did the trunk. The shower is a cabin with a rim, in short, very far from the services expected for a 4-star hotel. Well, nothing practical either. The only good point is the view.... the rendering of the room in real life does not really correspond to the photos sold."

The room is a little dim, so you can hear the people next door, but it's close to the station and has great access, so I highly recommend it. By the way, it's about a 20-minute bus ride to the place in the photo."

"This is a restaurant and hotel all in one. The restaurant on the first floor, and the guest rooms upstairs. There are free parking spaces, but there are not many parking spaces (but I don’t know if the parking spaces across the road belong to it), and it should be first come, first served. There is a pretty good supermarket about 100 meters away. It is very close to the Neuschwanstein Castle attraction, only three or four kilometers away. The location is still very good. There is no elevator, the room is relatively clean, and the bathroom is spacious enough. If I remember correctly, there should be no air conditioning, but the weather was already cold when we came here, and there was no need for air conditioning."

"The hotel is located just off a two lane road. It is NOT in the town of Fussen but not far either. That is actually a good thing as parking in Fussen is difficult. The hotel has an unassuming look from the street and I was worry that it was not going to be too memorable. But looks can be deceiving. Hotel staff were terrific and helpful. Very wood interior. No elevators but they did help bring our luggage to the room. Each room is different. We decided to go with what they referred to as "the apartment". It was an extremely large hotel room that really could have been used as an apartment. It was on the upper floor with a large balcony facing a beautiful park and lake with an outstanding view of some of the Alps. There was a very large living room and TV (no English language though). A historic looking ceramic heater. A full kitchen with all utensils. A large nook for dining. Very large master bedroom. There is another bedroom that can sleep about 4 with skylights. Noise from the road was not a problem. Very clean and all that is needed for a good trip. Just one bathroom but more than adequate. Next door is a pizza restaurant which was very good. Hotel breakfast was very good as was the service. Parking is more than adequate to accomodate the number of guests. Overall, the hotel was extremely comfortable. Provided you have a car, this hotel is centrally located to all three castles of King Ludwig. Unbelievably picturesque alpine area. You will not be sorry. While we were there it snowed and sometimes heavily. I was concerned about driving but the lady staffing the desk looked at my car and said that it has the German regulated snow tires (they change tires at certain times of the year), it was a heavy car MB GLC, and had four wheel drive. She also noted that Germans know how to drive in the snow so not to worry. For both here and the Black forest it continued to snow and I will say I was extremely impressed how well the Germans keep their roads plowed and salted. And, yes, they do know how to drive in the snow. So what started as a big negative in driving turned out a big positive as the countryside/mountains were stunningly beautiful in snow! The location is also close to several smaller touristic towns but the castles are the highlight."
