"The hotel rooms are designed like cabins, very warm feeling. The hotel corridor is like a maze, with portraits or furnishings at every corner, which is very special. The mattress was particularly comfortable, and with the heating at moderate temperature, it was a warm night. Most importantly, the breakfast the next morning was very rich, the environment was European and romantic, with an angel right next to the table, which was really a romantic way to kick start silent night!"

The location is good, alongside the lake with a nice restaurant on the other side of the road. Good breakfast is an extra charge. "The hotel has a fantastic location, right in the center square of Füssen's old town, and very close to the bus station for Neuschwanstein Castle, about a 3-minute walk. The hotel also offers free bus tickets to Hohenschwangau Castle (parking there by car costs €12 for 4 hours). The rooms are quite large and very soundproof, although the beds are a bit soft. There's a washer and dryer on the B1 level, and a free sauna and lounge on the first floor – perfect for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. The hotel breakfast at Riwa restaurant is particularly noteworthy; it's excellent, with a wide variety of dishes, and is by far the best we've had in Germany. They also offer dinner with a good selection. I highly recommend this hotel. Besides the hotel's own parking (which is rather small), there's another parking spot about 100 meters away for €5 per day, which is a very reasonable price."

"After having visited 3 hotels on the romantic route classified 4 stars and a 3 star in Augsburg where we had very good services we were surprised when entering the room: small, old-fashioned, entrance door with key leaving something to be desired as to safety (visible screws). The television remote control did not work as did the trunk. The shower is a cabin with a rim, in short, very far from the services expected for a 4-star hotel. Well, nothing practical either. The only good point is the view.... the rendering of the room in real life does not really correspond to the photos sold."

"We were here for the second time and felt very comfortable again. We were given a very friendly welcome and were given an upgrade with a view of Neu Schwanstein Castle. The location on Lake Forggensee is quiet and a good starting point for various activities such as hiking, cycling tours, sightseeing, cable cars, etc. Our suite had a living room, bedroom, children's room, balcony. Bathroom with shower and toilet were separate. There was a refrigerator, safe, 2 TVs, sauna bag with bathrobe and towels, kettle for tea and coffee. There was also a free bottle of water every day. The hotel has a wellness area with various saunas (60-90 degrees) and 2 swimming pools (1x inside and 1x outside). There are enough parking spaces and an underground car park for a fee. There are several charging options for electric vehicles. The breakfast is plentiful and you can find something for every taste. For dinner (with half board) you can choose from several main courses, and there is always a dish for vegetarians too. The staff is super friendly, so you can feel completely at home. Disadvantage: Lake Forggensee does not always have water. From October to March the water is drained, so there is no water in the area of the hotel. It looks a bit like a dried-up lake, but it serves as flood protection."

Handtuchs on site, bathroom is available for 5 Euro at the reception. Breakfast very good"

The hotel didn't offer female rooms, and the rooms smelled terrible. One guest left the lights on all night and didn't get a good night's sleep. Oh, and there was also a lot of loud snoring."
