"As a Ronaldo fan, you must stay in this hotel! The decoration style of the hotel is very cool, and the design of the corridor is also very handsome! Above the bed there are paintings of Ronaldo’s career from childhood to adulthood, which is great! You can swim and bask in the sun on the hotel's terrace. Opposite is the sea and cruise ships. There are also jerseys signed by Ronaldo in the hotel. Ronaldo's museum is next to the hotel. Guests staying at the hotel can get tickets to the museum for free at the front desk, siu! ! !"

"Cons We arrived late at night to a receptionist we could hardly hear talk due to a piano player playing in the next room. We fancied a cup of tea when we entered our room GUESS WHAT THE HOTEL DOES NOT SUPPLY Mini cartons of milk in the room. Now I have traveled a lot and when you get a kettle you get all the supplies to make yourself a cuppa. I was told the fridge is not cold enough to keep milk WHAT A LOAD OF RUBBISH. The hotel is not suitable for mobility issue's 2 steep slopes to front of hotel and from floor 10 steep slopes and many steps to reach the pool. The hot food selection both at breakfast and evening meal was barely hot and I never saw a member of staff checking the food with a food thermometer. SUPPLY A MICROWAVE. No supermarket nearby to purchase bottles of water etc Hotel situated to far from Funchal Pros Hotel clean and tidy Staff generally helpful Great Sea views Pool clean Plenty of sun beds Excess to Promenade good Pool bar ok Don’t order the Caesar Salad disgusting Local buses No 1 run every half hour to Funchal 1.98 euros pp Would I stay here again A differcult question as I would not return to Maderia too many hills unless you are a hiker. We did all the tourist stuff and that was great."

"Hehe, it seems that we were upgraded to a room type, which is very nice. The scenery is great. There are restaurants and supermarkets just up the hill from the hotel. It's just a little far from the city center. The bus station is right in front of the hotel. Don't have too much hope for breakfast, it's all white rice. I wanted to eat soup but there was none. The bath products are okay, at least they have a brand."

"Vila Camacho was a great accomodation and place to stay during our first holiday in Madeira. The room wasn't the biggest, simple but very clean and it had everything we needed during the stay. The little balcony provided a bit of an outside space. Maybe the view wasn't the gratest but we could enjoy an afternoon sunshine or evening drinks outside without going out. The hotel also provides outdoors pool and great relaxing area on the roof overlooking Funchal, what a brilliant idea to provide such a space to relax and unwind or sunbathe if someone prefers. Also, there is a small library/reading corner for those who would like to read a bit during their stay - the books were available in various languages. The breakfasts were plentiful, with a variety and great choice every day. The staff were working hard refilling the buffet so it was enough for everyone. The food was very good, fresh and good quality. You can sit inside or outside on the lovely patio and enjoy sunshine. We really appreciated the location, walkable distance to the city and close to bus stop for those who had enough of walking. It was relatively quiet and safe area. And what's important too- the staff was amazing! They went beyond and nothing was too muchh problem for them. Everyone was friendly, professional and helpful. Extra thank you to a lovely lady who welcomed us at the reception desk while checking in. Sorry- I forgot your name but you mentioned you lived in Netherlands (?). Thank you for all your help, tips and local recommendations, they made our stay even more special. Your enthusiasm and friendliness were beyond extra mile."
