"It was a super retreat and very peaceful! The staff was very friendly :)!"
Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Hotel Shinko ★★★★
"The hot spring was spacious and comfortable! However, the smell in the room was a bit off-putting."
Mt Fuji Hanayagi No Sho Keizan ★★★★
"Breakfast was great with lots of variety"
Kasugai View Hotel ★★★★
"Highly recommended! You can even bring your baby!"
Beautiful Japanese Garden Kagetsu ★★★★
"Excellent! The bed was very comfortable, the bathtub was very clean, I took a bath, and bought bath salts. It was a very good experience, it's a pity I only booked one night. I highly recommend staying several nights. It was a very good experience."
Hotel Sekitei ★★★
"Amazing staff and fantastic facilities"
Livemax Resort Isawaonsen ★★★
"I stayed here because it was rebranded in June 2026. The location was good, and the lobby was spacious. Welcome drinks, yukata (Japanese robe), hot springs, and a footbath were provided. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. The room was clean. The toilet and bathroom area were a little disappointing."
Itoyanagi ★★
"I saw the amazing breakfast on social media and decided to stay here! It's a long-established inn, and the atmosphere was relaxing and wonderful! The curry I had at night was delicious, with a hint of spiciness! The room I stayed in was spacious and clean! I had a very elegant stay! I heard from the staff that regulars come to stay every month! It was the breakfast I'd been waiting for! Just as I saw on social media, the variety of dishes was insane! I highly recommend you try it!"
Tabist Hotel Rakuserina ★★★
"Not good at all! There's no hot water in the bathroom."

Hotel Fuji
"It is a traditional hot spring hotel. We stayed in the old wing this time. I heard that one side is newly renovated. The old wing really has its age and the rooms have a bit of a smell. In mid-February, we made a reservation for the family bath on the 5th floor, but the floor was damaged and had not been repaired. It was dangerous for children to pass by. The front desk had limited English and could not fully communicate. There are not many tourists, and overall I am very satisfied."
Fujinoya Yutei
"Cospa is bad, this price is difficult to visit again."
Hotel Yamanami
"Although this hot spring hotel has some history, it is well maintained. From the room or the viewing platform on the top floor, you can see a series of mountain views...beautiful! The room is well-equipped and clean. What's great is that at this price (more than a thousand Hong Kong dollars), one room and two meals are absolutely impeccable. Although the dinner was not luxurious, the tableware used was very Kaiseki style. I went to Japan three times after the full shutdown. The hot spring hotels that cost more than 3,000 yuan and stayed in are no longer the same as before. I have seen a few semi-self-service hotels with no waiters, and I am disappointed. The breakfast arrangement is Japanese style + semi-buffet, which is very good. Overall it's top-notch!"
Hotel Route-Inn Court Kofu Isawa
"Older hotel"
Hotel Hana Isawa
"A nice Onsen hotel with hotspring facilities in the building. Book this room as it was the few that was vacant. Rooms are limited on the Saturday. My room is on the 3rd floor and it is right next to the dining hall. We share the corridor is rather noisy till roughly 9pm. Only after dinner and cleaning up is done the noise settle down. If you are one that sleeps early, do book other floors and not this. Onsen is good with indoor and outdoor. My room is spacious and has a toilet. Toilet do not have showers, only a sink. Facilities and amenities are a little old, but still overall a clean place."
Comfort Inn Kofu Isawa
"I arrived late, but the staff were kind and I had a pleasant stay."
Hotel Hatta
"Hotel Yata (HOTEL YATA), Isawa Onsen, Yamanashi Prefecture - A two-day, one-night New Year's holiday! ~5-point rating~ Bad ⇒ Average ⇒ Good ① ② ③ ④ ⑤ 🔻 [First Appearance] ③ The hotel has a large entrance that reminds me of a hotel from the Showa era's bubble economy! 🔻 [Staff Response] ③ They came over as soon as I arrived by car, politely helped me unload my luggage from the car, and escorted me to the lobby. 🔻 [Lobby] ③ There was a small lobby directly in front of me upon entering, and it felt a little crowded. A friendly woman at reception kindly assisted me. An attendant guided me to my room while carrying my luggage. There was a pond with many beautiful Nishikigoi carp swimming around, and they sold food so I could feed them♪ 🔻 [Barrier-Free Access] ③ It was mostly accessible, but there were some small steps here and there. 🔻 [Room] ③ A very spacious and beautiful Japanese-style room with an outstanding sense of openness. 🔻 [View from the Room] ② Mountains in the distance, with only the peak of Mt. Fuji visible. The rest was the cityscape. 🔻 [Hot Springs] ④ There were two baths: a wine bath and a small private bath on a higher floor where you could soak while enjoying the view. The water was quite warm, and soaking in the fragrant reddish-purple tub was a very satisfying way to soothe my fatigue. The open-air bath was also very pleasant♪ 🔻 [Food (Dinner)] ④ We had dinner in a private room. This was the last meal of the year♪ Each dish was very stylish. There was a wide selection, including Koshu beef and crab, and they were all delicious. 🔻 [Hotel Shop] ③ The shop was small and mainly stocked local specialties and items related to Takeda Shingen. Being in Yamanashi Prefecture, there was a wide selection of Shine Muscat processed products. 🔻 [Cooking scene (breakfast)] ③ Since we visited during the New Year holidays, the breakfast scene was different from usual, with New Year's dishes that were a delight to the eyes♪ 🔻 [Seeing off on the way home] ③ We paid in the lobby, and the attendant carried our luggage to our car. Then, we had our photo taken at the entrance♪ Overall score: 3 🎉"
Kur and Hotel Isawa
"I always use this place when I go to Yamanashi. I get excited because there are so many baths. I eat at Kappa; the bacon cheese and chicken wing gyoza are delicious."
Itoyanagi Koyado Yuwa
"It was a very nice accommodation!"
Tetsu No YA Guesthouse for Railfans
"It’s different from what I imagined. There is no private bathroom, you have to queue up to take a shower, and the toilet is outside, but there is no such explanation on the reservation🥲"
Isawa Tokiwa Hotel
"The food was good for the price. However, the open-air bath on the second day was too small for two people."
Isawa View Hotel
"An interesting way to warm up after hiking."
