HOTEL KOHAKUEN
"Nice, clean, tiny rooms, but in a great position"
Itoyanagi Koyado Yuwa
"It was a very nice accommodation!"
Livemax Resort Isawaonsen
"Although I didn't eat there, it was the kind of facility I was hoping for. Since it's in a hotel district, there aren't many shops, so it's a quiet place, but I was able to relax and enjoy a nice hot spring bath."
Spa Land Hotel Naito
"The restaurant food was good and there was a great variety of baths. The location was a bit secluded, but the shuttle bus made it very convenient."
Comfort Inn Kofu Isawa
"The breakfast was stylish and tasted good."
Mt Fuji Hanayagi No Sho Keizan
"The hot springs were amazing. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were well-cleaned and comfortable!"
Tabist Hotel Nizi Fuefuki Misaka
"The rooms are spacious and the interior and accessories are stylish. There are cups, glasses, pots and a microwave in the room. It felt like home"
Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Hotel Shinko
"There's a winery near the hotel that's within walking distance. During my stay, there was a wine tasting where I could buy my favorite wine. The staff were all very kind, and the hot springs were spotlessly clean. The food wasn't anything special, but it wasn't bad either. Isawa Onsen itself is a rather quiet hot spring town, but it's a good place to relax. Check-out was at 11 AM."
Hotel Eldia Yamanashi (Adult Only)
"The room is spacious and includes a kitchen. Groceries are a 10-minute drive away, and there's a convenience store across the street. There are also many dining options. Driving is highly recommended. However, the room door is a bit odd; you need to use the room phone to call the lobby on the second floor to open and lock it."

Hotel Kasugai
"A classic old-school modern hotel with ryokan-type service. The room is huge and has excellent views of the river. On a good day, it should be possible to see Mount Fuji as well. There is also big onsen area with an outdoor bath area. Dinner is served on the ground floor restaurant and it was a delicious multicourse meal which includes really good wagyu steak with wasabi shoyuzuke. Dessert also includes the region's famed grapes. Breakfast was served buffet style with selection of Japanese and western items. I drove to the hotel with a rental car. It is not too far from a station on a local line but I recommend driving around to explore instead. The patrons to the hotel also seemed more local."
Hotel Fuji
"Hotel facing Mount Fuji. Very large room with traditional Japanese bedding, night's sleep a little difficult because I'm not used to it. Otherwise very good hotel with possibility of traditional bathing very late in the evening. The dinner was royal with refined cuisine. Excellent breakfast. Bad luck the sky was overcast in the morning we didn't see Mount Fuji."
Fujinoya Yutei
"Cospa is bad, this price is difficult to visit again."
Isawa Tokiwa Hotel
"I was able to stay at a reasonable price even though it was December 29th. I learned that this hotel has a history of nearly 100 years and is called "Kofu's Guest House" and is chosen as the venue for shogi title matches. The hospitality of all the staff was very impressive. The service of carrying luggage to the room is not seen very often these days, so I am impressed that this is a hotel that represents a long-established Isawa. The room is normal, but there is a coffee machine, which is a nice service. For dinner, I was able to enjoy Koshu beef nigiri, shabu-shabu, steamed, and lava-grilled Koshu beef. The seasoning was good and the portions were large. For breakfast, you can choose white rice or Koshu beef bowl. I chose white rice because I wanted to eat a hearty meal in the morning. Most of the people around me had beef bowls. I was looking forward to breakfast because dinner was good, but my expectations were completely betrayed. The hoto was good, but the other side dishes were so poor that I think people who chose white rice will be disappointed. I can't believe that the menu was created by the same chef. Did the beef bowl cost a lot and the cost of that was reflected in the side dishes? It's true that if you choose the beef bowl, the side dishes would be fine. Wouldn't it be better to at least offer the all-you-can-eat dried small sardines served at the dinner venue for breakfast? It was a shame because the rice was delicious. The hot spring water is of good quality and is available almost 24 hours a day. However, the open-air bath is small and can only accommodate 2-4 people, so if you take the time, you can take your time by yourself. There is no mention of circulation, so I'm not sure of the exact details, but I think the open-air bath is a free-flowing bath. The indoor bath also has hot water. The customer service is good, as other people have said in their reviews. I liked the pleasant greeting. It's in front of the illumination venue, so it's a great place to see the cherry blossoms in spring, so I'd like to return in a different season."
Hotel Hana Isawa
"The drink service on the day was delicious. The shabu-shabu for dinner was tasty. There was so much to choose from that I couldn't eat all the rice, so I had rice balls instead. The breakfast buffet also had a wide variety of options. Thank you."
Hotel Route-Inn Court Kofu Isawa
"The breakfast was great, and on a clear day we had a room with a view of Mt. Fuji."
Chateraise Hotel Isawa
"I stayed overnight without meals. The welcome service included a Chateraise cake, which I could choose from about 10 different types, and the familiar Chateraise ice cream was provided free of charge. It was truly a Chateraise experience, and I really enjoyed it. The room was spacious and relaxing."
Hotel Hatta
"Hotel Yata (HOTEL YATA), Isawa Onsen, Yamanashi Prefecture - A two-day, one-night New Year's holiday! ~5-point rating~ Bad ⇒ Average ⇒ Good ① ② ③ ④ ⑤ 🔻 [First Appearance] ③ The hotel has a large entrance that reminds me of a hotel from the Showa era's bubble economy! 🔻 [Staff Response] ③ They came over as soon as I arrived by car, politely helped me unload my luggage from the car, and escorted me to the lobby. 🔻 [Lobby] ③ There was a small lobby directly in front of me upon entering, and it felt a little crowded. A friendly woman at reception kindly assisted me. An attendant guided me to my room while carrying my luggage. There was a pond with many beautiful Nishikigoi carp swimming around, and they sold food so I could feed them♪ 🔻 [Barrier-Free Access] ③ It was mostly accessible, but there were some small steps here and there. 🔻 [Room] ③ A very spacious and beautiful Japanese-style room with an outstanding sense of openness. 🔻 [View from the Room] ② Mountains in the distance, with only the peak of Mt. Fuji visible. The rest was the cityscape. 🔻 [Hot Springs] ④ There were two baths: a wine bath and a small private bath on a higher floor where you could soak while enjoying the view. The water was quite warm, and soaking in the fragrant reddish-purple tub was a very satisfying way to soothe my fatigue. The open-air bath was also very pleasant♪ 🔻 [Food (Dinner)] ④ We had dinner in a private room. This was the last meal of the year♪ Each dish was very stylish. There was a wide selection, including Koshu beef and crab, and they were all delicious. 🔻 [Hotel Shop] ③ The shop was small and mainly stocked local specialties and items related to Takeda Shingen. Being in Yamanashi Prefecture, there was a wide selection of Shine Muscat processed products. 🔻 [Cooking scene (breakfast)] ③ Since we visited during the New Year holidays, the breakfast scene was different from usual, with New Year's dishes that were a delight to the eyes♪ 🔻 [Seeing off on the way home] ③ We paid in the lobby, and the attendant carried our luggage to our car. Then, we had our photo taken at the entrance♪ Overall score: 3 🎉"
Kur and Hotel Isawa
"I always use it when I go to Yamanashi. I'm excited to have a lot of baths. The rice is delicious with bacon cheese and chicken wing dumplings."
Tetsu No YA Guesthouse for Railfans
"It’s different from what I imagined. There is no private bathroom, you have to queue up to take a shower, and the toilet is outside, but there is no such explanation on the reservation🥲"
Itoyanagi
"The room is very large in Japan, and the experience is very good. The hot spring environment is beautiful, and the outdoor one is especially comfortable. The hotel is said to be the best in the area, and the buffet has a lot of choices. I will choose this hotel next time."
Hotel Kakyo
"I was very satisfied."
Ryokan Kisen
"It was very good! The inside of the hotel was very spacious, the garden was beautiful, and the bath was also large. The room was a Japanese style room with a nice atmosphere!"
