"I stayed one night at the Arena Lodge, a decent hotel/guesthouse just steps from the Flims/Laax/Falera ski resorts. The hotel is a welcoming, clean place with very friendly staff. The double room, though not overly spacious, was very comfortable and clean. I didn't have breakfast at the hotel, so I can't comment. There's an excellent bar/patisserie located 100 meters away. There's ample parking/garage for guests and a heated ski room."

"This is a beautiful property for a quiet retreat or a relaxing weekend with friends or family. I had a comfortable room with balcony, with a great view overlooking the mountains. The new modern spa area and the pool are quite impressive and I spent a full rainy afternoon enjoying it. Not to mention the entire staff who is extremely friendly and helpful. And I can’t praise enough the creative cocktails of Christopher at the bar !"

Ubs particularly liked the attention to detail and the attention to detail in the decor and furnishings. You can tell from the selection, the decor, the furnishings, and the choice of music that a lot of passion goes into the experience. Excellent! Thank you very much!"

"This is one of the too few Family-owned and run places that I know of. Have been going here for many, many years. It could be considered my "second home." Always treated so very well! Super clean, well situated, fine amenities! My main objection is the evening meal: I wish there was as much imagination shown in the main course as there is in the vorspeise (appetizer) and the dessert. One gets rather bored with Graubunden cuisine EVERY Tuesday, fish EVERY Friday, and Wild EVERY Saturday, The chef is very talented and has a much better repertoire than what is presented. Would like to see some additional items at breakfast, too - Danish-style pastries, muffins, a larger or more varied selection of dry cereals, for examples"

"The hotel is centrally located for skiing, 50m from the bus stop, from there it is 3 or 6 minutes to the valley stations. For breakfast there was everything you need, of the highest quality (e.g. meat products, bread). The evening meal was good home cooking, everything was prepared very well. The superior room still looked like it had just been renovated, spacious, rather simply furnished - I felt comfortable. The staff are always courteous, friendly and helpful. A hotel with an excellent price/performance ratio."

"We weren’t sure what to expect from this hotel as some of the reviews are pretty dire, especially regarding the manager. We found Carlos to be very friendly and helpful and hard working, he did his very best to make the holiday enjoyable, we stayed here as part of a group on a 6 night coach trip, the place is a little tired and could do with some updating but by and large we found it to be clean and comfortable, the rooms are spacious and we had a great Mountain View, all the staff seemed friendly and efficient, unfortunately that’s where it ends, I appreciate the management will have budgets to to work to but the food on the whole was pretty poor apart from a couple of meals, one night we were served a flat cold lasagne and when it was pointed out to the chef he said, should I throw it away, but was told no, reheat it, he did and brought it back out and it was still cold, he eventually got it warm enough to serve, part of the evening meal offering on other nights included fish fingers and another was chicken nuggets, this might have been ok but there were no children staying in the hotel, beer wine and soft drinks were unlimited during the meal but at 8.30 there was no way of purchasing a drink of any kind, the hotel provided a packed lunch each day but the was woeful and most people binned it and started making their own from items provided for breakfast. Not sure if this because sandwiches are just done differently in Switzerland or just down to cost but it would be better not to provide anything at all and put the saving towards better evening meals"

"What a lovely week for our family in a lovely place! The staff is really friendly and supportive. The apartment was very well equipped, the pool and sauna are great to use after skiing. We had a lovely quiet week with our children. It’s almost ski in ski out with the new pathway. Nice restaurants in the neighbourhood, the Hapimag restaurant is also good."
