Location - BIG4 Adventure Whitsunday Resort is conveniently located at 25-29 Shute Harbour Road, Cannonvale, just four kilometres from the centre of Airlie Beach, the gateway to the stunning Whitsundays on the tropical North Queensland coast. Flights - Most domestic airlines offer flights to Whitsunday Coastal Airport in Proserpine, approximately 30 kilometres southwest of Airlie Beach. Coach services with Heart of Reef Shuttles and Whitsunday Transit are available for transfers from the airport to Cannonvale and Airlie Beach. Taxis, Ubers and rental cars are also available. Vehicle - If you are driving to the Whitsundays, turn off the Bruce Highway north of Proserpine. After 15 minutes you’ll see a roadside billboard which says “Only 3 minutes to your next BIG4” – it’s true! That’s us! Your are getting closer when you near the traffic lights and to the left will be our major local shopping centre, Whitsunday Plaza. We’re just on the other side, so go straight through these traffic lights, past McDonald’s, then turn left into our resort when you see the BIG4 Adventure Whitsunday Resort signs. Trains - The nearest train station is in Proserpine. Whitsunday Transit bus services meet each train and drop you to the resort. Coach - Coach services operate from the north and south to Airlie Beach. Once in Airlie Beach, local buses or taxis provide transfers to our resort in Cannonvale. Getting Around - BIG4 Adventure Whitsunday Resort is located just 4 km before the town centre of Airlie Beach, which is about a five minute drive by car. If you are visiting the area by air, bus or rail, Whitsunday Transit bus services depart from the front of the resort every 30 minutes into Airlie Beach. If you book any Whitsunday tour while here, most tour operators offer a courtesy bus transfer from the resort for your convenience.
