"We were welcomed by our friendly hostess who showed us to our apartment, walking past the beautiful pool area. A modern sitting area with kitchenette led through to the bathroom and bedroom. Electronic blinds afforded dark, quiet nights, and good linen and large towels were appreciated. Breakfast was served in the cafe/reception area or could be enjoyed on our private patio. Plentiful breads, croissants, ham, cheese and eggs were freshly made. The property has a small menu for lunch/dinner but we ate out in Evora. There are bikes or their electric buggy for hire, walking trails to follow and a beautiful massage area under trees on the estate. Recommended."

"The pros about the hotel: Location, service, and cleanliness of the room were all great. The hotel itself is aesthetically pleasing inside, and knowing it used the façade of the old bull-ring was pretty cool too. Now the cons: the pillows, were very flat and nothing to them so I didn't sleep well and had a slight headache when I woke up and the breakfast was a bit expensive for what it was. Otherwise, it was a good stay."

"It's a converted farm with over 200 years of history. The owner was a mayor for over 270 years. His granddaughter is now 99 years old. The farm lacks environmental management and feels dilapidated. The rooms are nicely decorated and well-equipped, but the smell is unpleasant. There are also a lot of mosquitoes. The breakfast is mediocre; if you can't go out, you'll just have to snore. If you want to escape the hustle and bustle, think carefully about how you want to eat dinner before checking in. I wouldn't have booked it if the Hilton and other hotels weren't fully booked. The price-performance ratio is extremely poor."
