"The reality of the hotel is different from what we found. Ecork is in the rehabilitation phase, so the photos available on the website do not reflect the state of degradation in which it finds itself. The expectation was much better than the reality. Although the pool, spa and surroundings are welcoming, there is, for example, no working pool bar. The internet in the room was non-existent or weak. The beds are comfortable and there is silence. As it is a sustainable hotel, with water recovery, hot water takes some time to appear in the taps."

"We stayed in room 2, which has one bedroom, one bathroom, and a kitchenette with a very comfortable sofa bed. The rooms are clean and decorated in a simple, modern style. The pool is heated, and the surrounding area is beautiful, with fresh grass and comfortable lounge chairs. We only tried breakfast in the restaurant area, which is small but has everything you need for a good, high-quality breakfast. There's a new paddle tennis court. Mini tractors for the kids to play on. The playground was undergoing renovations, but it has a slide and a trampoline. All the staff are very helpful and attentive. Right next door is Fazenda Cachopas, which has a very well-organized mini zoo where children can feed the animals. It's a 5-minute drive to downtown Évora. Quinta da Amendoeira is perfect for a few days with family, couples, or a group of friends. We will definitely be back."

Just one thing missing- huge terrace in the room looks a bit empty, could be nice to add long chairs for have opportunity to take sunbath without leaving your room."

"It's a converted farm with over 200 years of history. The owner was a mayor for over 270 years. His granddaughter is now 99 years old. The farm lacks environmental management and feels dilapidated. The rooms are nicely decorated and well-equipped, but the smell is unpleasant. There are also a lot of mosquitoes. The breakfast is mediocre; if you can't go out, you'll just have to snore. If you want to escape the hustle and bustle, think carefully about how you want to eat dinner before checking in. I wouldn't have booked it if the Hilton and other hotels weren't fully booked. The price-performance ratio is extremely poor."
