"Centrally located and easy access to the shops and supermarkets. The room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom had bath tub that was a real bargain. We managed to get a free parking space next to the hotel and walked around the town centre for its attractions as they were mostly walking distance. If you are looking for a centrally located hotel , Hotel Normandy should be considered."

"Hotel to avoid if you want a bubble of relaxation and well-being. Very dirty, not maintained. The hotel had canceled the reservation despite payment of the deposit. We were inevitably given a room. The hotel was empty. Freezing room, no heating, no cleaning, lamp above the bed unhooked, dangerous. We get another room and it's the same, fingerprints on the doors, dust everywhere under the bed and furniture. A horror. We preferred to flee and do nothing. The director refuses reimbursement of the deposit paid. And it's very bad times. Pretending she can't. While it is his good will. If I could I would have put 0. Only positive point. Very kind reception staff. They have courage because they experience negative remarks. In less than 2 minutes, a customer came back down ironically saying that his room was under construction. We did well to flee"

"We received a friendly welcome from the hosts. They all speak English which is a bonus. The room was rather small - it was a room for 2 - but clean and the bathroom was nice with a heated towel rail, which we don't always see in some hotels, and it came in handy as the early mornings were very cold. The breakfast was superb, and the stewed prunes and fruit salad were sublime. Delicious cheeses and thick creamy yoghurt complete the gastronomic delights. Definitely enough to set one up for a day of exploring the region."

"This was a return visit to the superb Hotel/Chateau a charming very French venue. We were met with a very warm welcome by the owners Marcelle, Tim , and Staff. Having checked in our room was excellent and were soon on our way to the first class facilities Indoor Pool/Jacuzzi/Sauna/Gym etc. Then to the delightful Restaurant in the evening for a fantastic meal and good quality wine’s. Next Morning breakfast was of high quality The Hotel being set on it’s own little Island makes it very private with large Gardens Ample parking also a wonderful Terrace perfect for dining in nice weather. A short walk into the Town or only a twenty minute drive to lovely Honfleur. We can highly recommend this Hotel and cannot wait to return. Thank you Clive Taylor."

"As a family we absolutely loved our stay at Hostellerie Saint Pierre . We found all the staff we encountered all welcoming and professional. The hotel is situated in a beautiful spot next to the Seine . There was something laid back and calm about the hotel which was just what we were looking for after a long day travelling . We took our dinner at the hotel and we are all glad we did as it was absolutely delicious . The bedrooms were thoughtfully laid out, a lovely shower and the bedding was especially good. There were some nice little touches around for example my wife really enjoyed the small lift decorated like a library . Overall it was just a pleasurable experience ."

"We spent 3 nights here and our only disappointment was the weather stopped us from enjoying the garden.This is a lovely B and B situated in the centre of this lovely old town on the banks of the Seine with easy access to river walks and Richard 1 castle. The owners are lovely people who really looked after our every need. They made all our dinner reservations and provided a great French breakfast. Our room was a suite with a small lounge area and bathroom with a great walk in shower.. Parking is free on street and wasn’t a problem. The house is a period property which has been tastefully maintained."

"Upon arrival, we drove through a stunning estate; the place was impressive. We then came to a magnificent castle with some of its original defenses. The welcome wasn't up to 4-star standards, and we had to cross a gravel courtyard (not easy with luggage...) to reach the castle. The room was clean, spacious, and well-appointed. Breakfast was rather basic, also not up to 4-star standards. There was a ray of sunshine, but unfortunately, the windows weren't very clean... a shame, because the room itself is very pleasant. A superb location, but there's still room for improvement to reach 4-star status."

"A reservation for one night at the "Garden Discovery" for two people. Rooms above the price of € 160. We were surprised to pay a surcharge of € 14 per person for breakfast. We are not aware that the regulations require at least home lingerie and breakfast. 15 days earlier we were down to a hotel***** in Corse for a five-day weekend. The hotel has a view of the sea, foot in the water, heated outdoor swimming pool, spa, mineral water in the rooms, etc. Brunch on Sunday, cocktail bar, restaurant, room service.
