Another amazing stay at IKOS Andalusia. There were a few teething issues with service that we are putting down to it being opening week, but on the whole, top tier as usual and still a 5 star stay. Darko and his team were superb and really took care of us for our beach meal. I did notice this year they’re trying to accommodate adults only as much as families which we definitely appreciated but you do have to go and understand this is a families first resort and there will be (a lot) of children. If you’re reading this and thinking: is it really worth it? YES is the answer! But IKOS - give us an adults only soon .. please! See you IKOS Oceania in the summer.

What can I say about the Ikos Andalucia. It is without any doubt the best all inclusive resort in the world that we have ever stayed at. We had a superb hotel room with a balcony overlooking the Deluxe Pool and restaurant with the Beach and the sea behind. During our stay we dined at all seven of the different themed superb a’ la Carte restaurants for lunch, breakfast and dinner. We also had lunch at the Chiringuito on the beach and the dined out at Tikitano both were equally fantastic. All the menus at these restaurants have been specially created by top Michelin star chefs, the quality and presentation of the food was outstanding. The service we received was exceptional and every single member of staff could not do enough for us. Nothing was too much trouble. I could easily name every single member of staff for giving us excellent service during our stay. I have shortlisted a selection for of the most memorable below. IKOS Andalusia did not fail to provide the excellent holiday experience for which the IKOS brand is renowned. Everything about the resort met the highest standards, from the rooms, the restaurants - 7 a la carte and 1 buffet style - to the pools and bars. The staff throughout the resort are amazing, always smiling and happy to help. There was always someone available to deal with any queries. The restaurants provide exceptional food and drinks and we ate every night, and some lunchtimes, in one of the seven a la carte restaurants. We lunched twice at Chiringuito on the beach and Darko ensured we were well looked after. Darko also looked after us in Flavors where we chose to have our breakfast every morning. The pools were very well managed with lots of sunbeds, towels and constant drinks and snacks available. You even had your sunglasses cleaned. We did use the spa on one occasion and were disappointed the steam room was not hot enough and there was no jacuzzi but these are the only shortcomings I can think of and they did not spoil our enjoyment during our six night stay. I would definitely recommend IKOS Andalusia.

This place is the best all inclusive I have ever stayed in. Superb super superb. Christas and Martha on checkin were second to none. We requested a room change to a room with a garden as opposed to balcony for our little boy, no issues and all luggage moved for us. Food- incredibly good. Every single restaurant is top drawer. Drink- unlimited options. Excellent. Wines really good too. Beach- worst part of the resort but still ok, pools and rest of it are so good you don’t need to use the beach! Service / staff- the best customer service ever. WhatsApp chat / concierge is a total game changer. Nothing is an issue for them. They just get great customer service, seems so obvious when you see them do it, very naturally done too, not excessive. Family oriented- brilliant for young families with kids, we had our 2 year old with us. All restaurants have areas for families where it’s chaotic and kids doing kids stuff but also have quiet and adult only areas. Pools- first 2 days pools were chilly, especially the kids pools, but by day 3 they seemed to have sorted it. The central pool and scented pools were definitely the warmest. Poolside waiters also brilliant and QR codes make ordering to your loungers so easy. Play areas/ sports facilities are excellent. We will be back, to this and other Ikos resorts. Brilliant set up, can’t fault it. Only downside was the queue for breakfast which was at times 5-10 mins long to get a table. Not a massive issue at all. Thank you!

We stayed for 5 nights in a very comfortable and quiet superior room with a sea view. The check in was smooth and a delight due to Aurora, who was absolutely charming and made us feel very special as we were celebrating our 30th anniversary. During our stay Aurora organised a cake and cava and balloons in our room along with an utterly lovely personalised note of congratulations. Thank you Aurora - you are a credit to Ikos and we wish you well with your studies. We had not done all inclusive before and were a little unsure what to expect, but overall we very much enjoyed our stay. The food was very good - Anaya is the stand out restaurant and Rothio looked after us superbly and was so friendly. The Beach Club is also excellent and we enjoyed breakfast lunch and supper there where Maria was also a delight. We had an issue with a dish not as described at Seasons one night but Jose Andres went over and above to try to rectify things. Breakfast at Fresco was very good and Neomi looked after us so well. The pools are lovely - one suggestion I made to Ikos is they have more than one adults only pool as it can get crowded in the afternoon, albeit we never had a problem getting sunbeds. The waiter at the adults pool (did not get his name) worked so hard running about in 35 degrees and getting people whatever they wanted. And the team at the Pool Bar were also so hard working and efficient in the heat. We went into Estepona on the shuttle bus one day and it is a pretty town with lots of shops and nice looking restaurants. The transfers from and to the airport went very smoothly. We were very impressed with the quality of the resort and its amenities but it is truly the staff who make this place special. Usually you can tell who is in charge but we genuinely couldn’t - everyone seems to just know their job and get on with it, with great teamwork and always a smile. We would love to go back and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ikos Andalusia. Thank you to all the team.

What a wonderful holiday! Our first time in an all exclusive hotel - service, food accommodation, activities all AMAZING!! The weather matched.

After driving for 4 days to get here, our tired eyes were awoken by an amazing arrival reception with Marinos and Matteo. From there, the holiday started! It was the most unbelievable stay. We were looked after from start to finish by Matteo. He ensured we had the most amazing trip. I could not have imagined such a holiday. The food is amazing, the staff can not do enough for you and the hotel and facilities are off the scale. You can have a 5 star hotel, but if you don't have the staff to match it, then it doesn't work. Malama and all the gang at the Deluxe pool bar are amazing, massive hugs! Warm, humble, good people, and more than happy to help. The restaurants are superb. Seasons, Anaya, Fresco..... and again, the staff make it. Fantastic knowledge of the menu and some of the dishes are off the scale! Grab a bike and head out on a beautiful ride either way. It won't let you down. Views all the way. Great entertainment in the theatre for all, and some laughs in the main bar on the white night with people reliving their youth, lol. The staff here and the cocktail bar again are amazing. But when you go on holiday there are a few people you just click with. Everyone is different. For us, Matteo made sure we had the most amazing stay. He goes above and beyond and made us smile every day. And with the warmth of Malama we left with our hearts filled and a few tears. Also a big shout out to my amigo Javi, great help and good chats. This was our second time stay here, our first visit was in May 2024. Everything about this hotel is perfect. The rooms are clean, modern and spacious. All the staff from reception, to the restaurant staff, to the bar and pool staff, to the coaches and lifeguards, are all so friendly and there to make your stay perfect. There are 6/7 pools for all ages that get most of the sun every day and plenty of space for everyone. There so much for kids to do from kids club, to football coaching, to bike rentals and an ice cream / sweet. And the food, breakfast, lunch and dinner, in every restaurant is amazing, our personal favourites were Fesco, Oliva and Chiringuito. The food selection at flavors and by the pool is also excellent. We had another amazing holiday and can’t wait to go back.

An exceptional hotel (our first visit to an Ikos hotel). Food, service, ambience, location, pools, gym, watersports all first class. Staff were exceptionally friendly and could not have done more for us. We heard on 3 separate occasions families at the pool on calls back home with family and friends raving about how good it is and how everything is included (it is!). Never witnessed that at any other 5* hotel we have stayed at! Now scheming on when to come back as we loved every minute and were genuinely so sad to be leaving. What you see, read and hear is what you get.

Having visited Ikos Oceania earlier this year, Ikos Andalusia is a class above - I never thought that would be possible. The location, setting and scenery is stunning. The beachfront location with an expensive promenade allows you to take in all the beauty that Estapona holds. The restaurants offer a huge variety of dishes catering for all dietary requirements. I travelled with my husband and, if you are concerned about the reviews that talk about lots of families and children, don’t be. The families we encountered add to the spirit of the hotel and we spent lazy days by the adult pool which offers tranquility and exceptional service. Big thank you to the life guard - Manuel and the lovely waitress- Elpida who were both highly attentive and professional. Other features worth noting: * Small but exceptionally well equipped hotel gym. * Excellent group walking activity twice a week. * Beautiful long promenade * Number of pools and size of hotel grounds makes the hotel calm and spacious * Evening entertainment select and appropriate for clientele. *

Check in process was nice, no queuing at a reception, you are taken to a sofa area and offered a glass of champagne while you are checked in, given a link to the WhatsApp to use. Our room was a garden view, (Photo uploaded), the room had everything you need, nice big bed, dressing table with mirror and plug, lots of wardrobe space and hangers, slightly smaller than other hotel rooms of similar standing. We did have a shower issue, very slow but we messaged the WhatsApp and this was fixed! The hotel is very well laid out and easy to get around, you can't possibly get lost! It's very calming colours and vibe. although would be better to have toilets near each restaurant and bar, if you are in the cocktail bar the nearest toilet is across the hotel! Fresco (Italian) went here a lot for lunch at lot, near the pool and very nice, usually had a DJ on, chill out not too loud. Probably our favourite restaurant! Seasons - in the deluxe area, sat downstairs as they said no tables available upstairs, a guy playing music was nice, a large grassy areas in front of tables, this meant lots of children running around! Food nice, small portions! Beach club, Ouzo, Provence all in same area next to each other, similar decor! Pools, basically they are in the centre of the hotel, starting with family pools then a 12plus pool (this was quiet as no balls), all the others had inflatables and balls! Then the adult only pool near the spa, this is where we spent our days, lovely glass area with cabanas, good service here, only negative was the beds (cabanas) could do with cleaning The other pools we found the service very slow. Also all around the pools is very hard gritty floor, I suppose it's to be none slip however is actually quite hard to walk on. A lot of the steps into the pools had missing rubber on the steps which made them slippy. Main bar in down near the beach, cool inside with lots of sofas outside, only negative is the sofas covers had seen better days and some of the decking needed replacing, it's very slow service, we waited 10 minutes to be offered drinks! After the second night we found the cocktail bar, this was a lovely place, lots of places to sit and the guys behind the bar were amazing, one makes the drinks and other other served, very friendly and professional, loved our pre dinner drinks there. Provence (French)was disappointing , champagne was excellent but we ordered mussels thinking as it was the French restaurant they'd be good, they very dry almost crumbly I suspect they were frozen. We had breakfast in the buffet once, it was ok but queued to get in, nothing special. Other days we had breakfast in either Ouzo (adult only for breakfast) or beach club or Freso. Pool food nice, chicken wings a favourite, could do with a bigger pool bar to eat the casual pool menu.
