It is a simple, quiet and beautiful boutique hotel with no air-conditioner. 40minutes drive from the center of Luzern. If you will need to back to the hotel after 11pm, please be remembered the front door is closed and you will need your key to open the door. Recommend to those who will drive to travel in Engelberg but if you only plan to take a train tour, it is not for you. "

"Had a 3 night stay here on June - 24, 25 & 26, 2026 in room 54 of this hotel. This hotel suffers from server Wi-Fi issues - experienced spotty Wi-Fi both inside this room & even in the reception also. The hotel desk has complimentary cookies (2 per pack) & behind it are glass cupboards with local paraphernalia like cow bells, cow figurines, thermal jackets, alcohol bottles etc. This is a 3* hotel with sauna facilities. There are 2 chilled tunnels & lifts/elevators to navigate in order to reach the hotel reception from the road. Trolleys for suitcases were provided & the hotel has a nice balcony view near the reception. The view from our room of the Swiss alps was magnificent. The Mount Titlis experience is at a walkable distance from this hotel. This hotel allows 3rd party caterers to occupy their -1 level, & serve Indian food in a group hall for large tour groups (40+) people."
