An exceptionally wonderful hotel. Great location with walking distance to Waverly Railway Station (i.e. the main/central railway station), Highland and Loch Ness tour buses, city sightseeing buses, the majority of the sightseeings in Edinburgh, St James Quarter (i.e. a nice shopping center), many stores, shops, restaurants, cafes etc. Nice, clean and quiet room with comfortable beds, with iron and ironing board. Nice gym, swimming pool and sauna on the third floor. Nice (breakfast) restaurant and a bar, nice breakfast, great staff everywhere, fast and nice check-in and check-out. We highly recommend this hotel. We will definitely come back to this hotel.

I read the reviews that Chinese people would be assigned bad rooms. I stayed there for two days, one was a basement trash can room, the other was a disabled room, and there was no prior notice. I found out after entering the room. It's hard not to think of differential treatment. The attitude of the front desk seemed good, but it was actually very mean. Bad review
