Edinburgh hotel to avoid! If you're looking for accommodation in Edinburgh, definitely steer clear of this hotel. They have a check-in time after 3 PM. I had been exploring the Scottish Highlands all day, so I came back at 8 PM to check in. I got my room card, opened the door, and this is what I walked into. My body was tired, but my mind was even more so. The front desk told me to wait a bit while they cleaned it. I asked the front desk to change my room, but they refused. After Ctrip intervened, they finally gave me a different room. However, when I went in, the trash in the cabinet hadn't been emptied, and the toilet paper was also what the previous guest had left. The hotel price wasn't high, but I don't expect them to shine my shoes, serve me tea, or carry my luggage. I just want a place to sleep. My booking stated that the room was reserved for immediate check-in, but I didn't expect the reserved room to be a dirty one.

The hotel is very spacious. While the room itself might not be huge, it's luxurious and a good size for two people. The staff are available 24/7, very polite and kind. My friend accidentally broke a glass, but they didn't charge us and the cleaning team came to sort it out quickly.

The hotel's location is excellent and convenient for transportation. The room was clean and tidy, and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were warm and friendly, and both check-in and check-out were smooth. The breakfast had a great variety. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and will definitely choose to stay here again.

The room was spacious and the bedding was excellent and very comfortable! For transportation, you can take bus 1 or 25 directly to Princes Street. However, the surrounding neighborhood seems to be an ethnic minority area, so it's advisable to be careful at night. There aren't many good food options nearby, but there's a McDonald's and a Sainsbury's about a ten-minute walk away.
