The quality was very good considering the cheap price. I stayed at a 6-female room. It's clean and quiet, and feels very safe for solo female travellers.

I sleep in 6 bed room, there is no private toilet, only 3 toilet shared by 10+people, I think it is quite dirty, the shower equipment also not work, with small water flow. Quite bad living experience.

nice hostel very close to the train station (only 2mins walk). I met a lot of friends here.

Location is very central. Near the junction to the old town and new town of Edinburgh.

My first hostel stay so im not sure what are the standards for hostels. I chose to stay here due to its proximity in the center of Edinburgh and the hotels near the centre are really costly. However i realised that Edinburgh is tiny and i finished the city centre in half a day and you could just walk or take the bus into the centre anyway. In hindsight i would have gotten a hotel outside of the centre. Edinburgh is unlike most major cities and not worth paying a premium to be in the centre

St Christopher’s are my go to accommodation choice as they offer dorms under my travel budget and couldn’t go wrong with them in any standards.

Insanely good location, big enough space, bring your own shower gels, toothbrush & slippers, quite noisy when ppl walk around but front desk provides ear plug, be sure to pick up

It’s good experience for the hostel and convenience of attractions.

The hostel is very well located and the staff is very friendly

Very comfy and clean, there is a chilling room with lockers (bring your lock), there is also a reception with chairs and stuff and Check in is 24 hours. I stayed one night and would stay again, location is in the middle of everything!
