Love this hotel! Location is perfect, and it’s 2 mins from Waverly Station (Market Street). Amenities are so luxurious - bedroom slippers, lux toiletries, the whole bar & snacks in the room is free. Bathrobe is plush and the bed is heaven. Our window overlooks one of narrow lanes. Just perfect!

Amazing hotel with great service. Would definitely stay here again! Location is convenient. In between princes street and "diagon alley".

Check in at 7th floor. The room was great big and clean enough for lay 2 30 inches luggage in the room. 2 minutes walk from edinburgh Waverley.

My wife and I stayed room 415 one night on 7 July and room 318 one night on 10 July respectively. Both rooms type are “Cozy King Room” when I booked, but room 415 is bright and bigger, room 318 is dark and smaller.

Second time being here. Good service and helpful staff. Excellent location. Being helpful with my luggage storage.

Amazing stay at Market Street Hotel! The room was superbly located just opposite the Edinburgh train station. It is fully accessible via lifts, so you do not have to worry about lugging the luggage through any stairs. It is opposite the train station yet the rooms are soundproof and quiet. The room was clean and beautifully furbished. The concierge Miles was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is also conveniently-located near to the Royal Mile. I highly recommend this hotel to all travelers.

Had a warmly welcome from the reception. Room is clean and tidy, breakfast is good.

The hotel front desk service attitude is poor. They entered the guest room without permission and locked the room card. Families should never stay in this hotel! Our family of three (including a minor) stayed in a cozy king-size bed room. We thought we could add an extra bed for our sister when we checked in (because the previous hotels we stayed in said that we could not add extra beds, but when we checked in, the hotel knew that our sister was a minor and allowed us to do so). However, the hotel told us that they did not agree to add a bed because of fire regulations. We had to book another cozy king-size bed room before we could stay. Because the price was too expensive, I helped my mother rebook a hotel room nearby. When my sister and I went to the hotel room to pick up our luggage, we found that the room card could not open the door. When we went to the front desk to inquire, the front desk said that when they entered the room by themselves, they saw three suitcases in the room, so they locked the room card  and prevented us from entering. They did this without permission and without being informed. Who can guarantee the safety of the luggage and valuables in the room? When we went to unlock the room card, we argued with the front desk. My sister and I were the only ones staying in this room tonight. We told her that we had already bought tickets tonight and would not stay overnight. However, she kept holding the room card and wanted to follow us into the room to get the luggage and force us to check out. However, we were not leaving at all. My sister emphasized that we had paid for the room and could not be forced to check out, but the front desk said You cannot talk to me like this. During the process and afterwards, we did not receive any apology. The attitude was very bad and terrible. It is recommended that the management retrain the front desk staff on how to receive travelers. And I also want to ask the hotel, can't you put more suitcases than the number of people in the room? Two people checking in can't bring three suitcases? In addition, the bed in the cozy king-size room was smaller than expected, and did not look as wide as the 1.8 meters described by the hotel. 

The doorman and the front desk were very welcoming. The location is excellent, just 50 meters right from the Market Street exit of the train station. The price in Edinburgh is commensurate with its hardware facilities and service quality. And the details in the room also maximize comfort. Overall, it is a very satisfactory and comfortable living experience.
