This place is lovely, straight out the gate and onto the beach, the views are absolutely stunning. Perfect location! The rooms are spotless and the breakfast is amazing whatever you choose! Kenny & Lesley are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble,as are the rest of the staff. Well worth a visit! Can't wait till next time!"

"The house is not far from scenic spots such as Luss Town, in a quiet lakeside town. The room is clean and warm. Breakfast is ordered. When you check in, the proprietress will say hello to you for breakfast the next day. The next day, you will personally prepare it for you according to your meal time. It is a very delicious and delicious breakfast."

"The Douglas Park guest house has a lovely location overlooking the firth of Clyde, near to the ferry but also a short walk from the town centre. It is well presented and tastefully decorated. There is private parking. My room was spacious with everything I needed and the bathroom was clean, bright and the shower was good and the bathrobe was a lovely touch. The breakfast was delicious. The amenities in the room were as you would expect, and I enjoyed a lovely complimentary Tunnocks Teacake admiring the view from the lovely sitting room which guests are encouraged to enjoy. The best thing about this guest house is undoubtedly Ken and Sheila. They are warm, friendly, welcoming and just a joy to interact with. Nothing was too much trouble, from providing a mug rather than a cup at breakfast for my tea (and remembering that the next day) to storing and refreezing ice packs for me, Ken was just a wonderful host. Travelling as a solo female guest I was made to feel safe and welcome which is so refreshing in the world of self checking ins!"
