"Quirky? Yes. Different?-Yes. Worth visiting? Absolutely YES. The gateway to beautiful Dumfries and Galloway. What a spot! It's all down to Angus, the Owner. Superb chef, host and knowledge. Only 8 rooms but what an experience. Dinner at 7pm! Drinks before in the garden. View of the Solway Firth. Excellent eccentric rooms. Excellent Scottish breakfast with kippers or haggis and black pudding. Excellent dinner with venison, scallops, sole or whatever Angus asks you would like. Quiet man but a fountain of knowledge. Excellent wine cellar at very good prices. Location superb for exploring the beautiful area. Kirkcudbright. Mull of Galloway. 4 nights of relaxation in the gulf stream. Sleep peacefully. Eat heartily. Simply put-Go there. I am returning."

He was not satisfied with the two room arrangements. The first time was a side room with only half a large window. The second time was a smaller room after communication with Ctrip. The suitcase was opened and there was nowhere to put it. 😭 The advantage is that the breakfast is Scottish 😌."
