"This hotel shows its age. While the location is good and is close to the downtown Drumheller business district, the amenities are average at best. The fridge in our room was not working, and the air conditioner was very loud. Also, there was a musty smell in our room. The complimentary breakfast offered basic fare but certainly did not provide anything more than that. In addition, the breakfast seating area was inadequate for the number of guests using the facilities. I would not book this facility again."

"The room was clean and tidy and comfortable. The hotel was on a small hillside and was very quiet. There was a super large supermarket next to it. It was very convenient to buy food and eat. The hotel provides a buffet breakfast and you can make pancakes yourself. The front desk clerk was warmly received and checked in and checked out were very fast. The hotel is about 15 minutes drive from the Dinosaur Museum, which is very convenient. I really like this small town in Bad land, there are cute dinosaurs everywhere."

"This is a gem in Drumheller. We were greeted by cheerful staff, shown to our room, which was very spacious, clean, well organized, and best of all, access to a private patio area. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend the Heartwood Inn to everyone planning to stay in Drumheller. It's a very short drive to Rosewood and great theatre."

"I called in advance to confirm my reservation and the guy on the phone was helpful and friendly. Once I arrived the two front desk staff were friendly and quite social. The rooms are decent, quite dated but it is a motel. There is no cable and no hair dryer but overall for what you pay it is not bad. The staff made the experience more enjoyable and made me feel comfortable staying there."
