"The location was awesome! Less than 5 mins drive from Frenchman's Cove and close to the falls. Maybe 10 or 15 mins to the town. The atmosphere takes you back to a real tropical rainforest. It was cool, quiet and peaceful. The first room had some issues but the staff quickly rectified it by moving us to another room. It was clean and cool. The pool is a great pool. Great for photo ops especially in the night and was footsteps from the room we got. It was overall a great stay and the staff was welcoming. So good that we're heading back there this month! i'll have another review by then with much more photos! I twas rainy when we went there so we didn't get to capture alot of pics."

"All Nations Guest House is a nice hotel/guest house. It has an old charm to it that you don’t get in many places anymore. The view of the ocean is nice. When you sit on the outer deck to relax, eat, or converse with friends, you can look out over at the ocean and it’s absolutely amazing. The hotel is clean, and quiet."

Frenchman's Cove Resort

📍 5HGX+4VP, Drapers
★★★ 6.1 (40 reviews)

"We stayed over the Easter holiday and my god we have never stayed in a more run down and filthy place. The room was horrible, the bedding was even worst. The day before we went I read a few reviews and so I decided to walk with our own bedding and if we didn’t I couldn’t sleep. It was so bad and even tho we tried to make it work we ended up leaving before we were supposed to. We could not spend another night in that place. The villas are nothing I would think it would be. The name “French Men Cove” is overrated. Owners take no pride in their brand. The beach is filthy with kids pampers, bottles, plastics etc laying around. The only positive thing to this place was the staff."

Geejam ★★★★
"This was my second time staying at Geejam. I returned because my first stay was memorable and exceptional. I stayed in a Rumba room with an expansive view of the Caribbean Sea, surrounded by lush tropical rainforest. The room was beautiful and spacious with a large shower and lux soaker tub. The room had a large balcony where I admired the vibrant colours of the sky at sunset and enjoyed the hummingbirds zipping by. The staff were kind, attentive and friendly, greeting them was a highlight, everyday. The food was delicious with diverse options to choose from, and they catered to my dietary restrictions which I appreciated. The fried dumplings and Blue Mountain coffee are a must. There are an abundance of beaches near by, including the Geejam beach where I spent some time, it was peaceful and relaxing. The team helped to coordinate spa services for me as well as excursions and transportation which provided me with an opportunity to experience some of Jamaica’s most beautiful locations. On this trip, I chose to do the Rio Grande rafting and during the previous visit I went to Frenchman’s Cove, Boston beach and I did a hike to Nanny Falls. I also visited Reach falls, located in a Montane Forest in the John Crow Mountain range, to hike, swim in the natural pools and to learn about the biodiversity of the area. All of these excursions were within a reasonable distance. Travelling through many small villages and cities on the way, I took in the scenery, peace and periodic resonance of booming bass. One of the highlights of my stay was participating in a behind the scenes tour of the studio, with other guests, facilitated by Steve. Steve was great and he shared about their creative process, history and story. My wish was for a quiet getaway to relax and enjoy Jamaica- Geejam did not disappoint. Happy travels."

Traveling with friends
Frenchman's Cove Resort ★★★
"We chose this resort due to word of mouth from friends and family who remembered it from years before as an amazing family-friendly place. We went on line and chose the “great house” option, since a villa seemed large for 2 people. On arrival, the grounds are exceptionally kept, and I will leave the one star in this review for that and also the friendliness of the staff. But that’s where the good aspects end. The “great house” was about a mile drive through the extensive grounds to a pretty remote area of the estate, to a building that looked like a dilapidated motel 6. We were literally the only people there-2 females, the only car, no land phones, and no evidence of recent upkeep. There was a dead grasshopper in front of the stairwell to the second floor where our room was located. There was mold and peeling paint in the common areas. We were afraid to turn on the AC in the room for fear of breathing dust or mold. The beds looked like they had been made months before and then never changed or aired. It was extremely stressful while we tried to decide to stay or not, but we decided decided in less than minutes of checking in that we would not be staying. We went back to the front desk to explain the concerns, and they were kind and apologetic, but did not offer any alternative for us. We thus decided to seek another place, and ended going to Geejam. Coincidentally, another family arrived almost at the same time as we did, and less than an hour later, we were checking in together at Geejam, which was a lovely experience from start to finish. We contacted the resort management who denied us any refunds or other offers of compensation, which we thought may happen, but wanted them to be aware nonetheless. It is a shame because the grounds, preservation And beach are spectacular and wasted by lack of upkeep of the living quarters. areas and beach"
