Hotel Villa Gustui Maris
"Small hotel perched high up. The service is impeccable and the rooms are very clean. Breakfast very good. Access on foot to Cala Gonone is still easy if you are willing to walk around fifteen minutes (with an uphill side on the way back). We did it every day with no problem."
Turismo Rurale Belvedere Pradonos
"We received a warm welcome, the location was beautiful, and the food was excellent. Our room was spacious and clean. The owner family was incredibly welcoming and recommended an excellent restaurant as well as a very interesting place to visit. Our stay truly lived up to all our expectations."
Hotel Il Querceto
"Lovely hotel with amazing views. Very friendly staff and comfortable rooms with views from the balconies. Fantastic water pressure in the shower! The meals were outstanding. Easy walk into Dorgali. The prices at the bar were reasonable with excellent choice. Would definitely recommend!"
Hotel Ispinigoli
"We stayed from 04/ to 16 August in this property located in a panoramic position near the famous Ispinigoli cave. Our experience was more than positive starting from the abundant breakfast, with a wide choice of both sweet and savory products at K.m 0 served on a panoramic terrace from which to enjoy a fantastic view of both the lush Mediterranean scrub and the Gulf of Orosei. On the same terrace in the evening we dined with excellent traditional Sardinian cuisine, of a high quality level, we tried the whole menu and we did not find a dish to not recommend. The hotel is family run where availability, kindness and courtesy are the masters. A special note must be dedicated to Mr. Pietro, a person who we could define as out of the ordinary, a truly exquisite person. To conclude with a few minutes by car you can reach some of the most beautiful beaches of the Gulf of Orosei. Highly recommended."
Ecoparco Neulè
"A really wonderful place. It is very scenic and we loved staying there. The spots are also very personalised and spacious. Animals make it so much nicer too and they offer a lot of extra things. It's hard to be bored! 😊 The only suggestion is perhaps to tell the visitors the time of quiet time on the campsite. On one of the nights after the traditional dinner some people were very loud until very late at night."
Hotel Barbagia
"Enchanting. It's what you want to find as travelers. It's what we found. It's what we always want to find when we arrive somewhere as travelers. Everything was SUPERB: the food, the accommodation... a discreet treat that you savor little by little. THANK YOU. Keep up the good work, with your presence, your courtesy, your warm welcome."
Palazzo Santa Caterina
"We were in the old palace yesterday, very well maintained, clean, friendly and available staff, top breakfast and Madame who has prepared it very friendly and available, has prepared a great breakfast. ,and clean. Beautiful view on the dorsals and mountains. All beautiful , unique neo the different kinds of outdoor fracture .... sinful."
Country House S'Ozzastru
"The hotel is only nice in pictures. But the owners do not know how to run it so that the guests feel good. The rooms are nice and clean but... the cleaning lady hung our dirty towels, which we threw on the floor again on the hanger. This is a scandal... People from nearby cities are allowed into the pool and it is very loud and hotel guests have nowhere to lie down and relax by the pool, because everything is occupied by guests from outside the hotel... drama... It should not be like this, it was supposed to be an oasis of peace and there were only nerves and shouts of people from outside. The pool has dirty and torn mattresses and no one is watching over it. Everything is very different from the photos on the website. In front of the cottages there are broken and very uncomfortable chairs. Basically, there is nowhere to sit there. And if there were sun loungers, you could relax in front of the cottage when the pool is always busy... and as it is, we had to relax outside the hotel. I have a beautiful, large house and for me these conditions are very poor and the owner does not care about the details so that everyone feels special, only the number of guests counts, not the quality... Guests often do not have a table for breakfast and there is chaos... Very disappointed and tired of this place. I will never return and feel cheated. I do not recommend it and it is rather a hotel for undemanding guests!!!"
Palazzo Cherchi
"Beautiful Sardinian decorated hotel 1. Clean and spacious bedroom and washroom, with small fridge. Large windows for fresh mountain air. 2. Excellent breakfast - very unusual for Italy. There are provisions of various breads, cereal, cheese, ham, jams and honey, fruits, Sardinian breakfast cakes and biscuits. Juices and excellent coffee. Everything is served on china. 3. The hostess is provides great information on the surrounding area - visiting Cala Gonone, beaches of Orosei and cruise excursions on the gulf of Orosei, restaurants to eat. 4. Each floor has a beautiful drawing room to read and a balcony to enjoy coffee and tea. 5. Common area has kettle, tea cups and some tea bags 6. Explore the 4th floor to visit the roof top and take in the Mountain View 7. Interior of hotel is fill with Sardinian decor. I highly recommend this hotel for the experience of Sardinia."

Club Parco Blu
"I stayed 3 nights at this hotel. I really enjoyed my stay. Hotel room & facilities are well maintained & very clean. I stayed at a higher level bedroom with Seaview balcony and windows. The bedroom is very new with wood flooring & new bathroom. Hotel offers a good breakfast and dinner. I only had breakfast during my 3 days visit, and quality is good. I met hotel female owner. She is very kind and friendly. Hotel employees are professional and helpful. I recommend this hotel to other guests if you are planning to visit Cala Gonone. 我住了三個晚上。很喜歡這家酒店。非常乾淨。我住的是高樓層海景房#366,房間大,新,一大床&1小床。飯店早餐簡單但是品質不錯。飯店女主人非常親切,員工服務專業。我強烈推薦訂‘有海景的房型’,因為‘新‘’ 又 ‘’大‘’"
Margaida Boutique Hotel & Spa
"Lovely and modern hotel very close to the sea front with all the shops and restaurants. No parking specific to the hotel but we were fortunate to find one close-by the front entrance on the narrow street. Seems like lots of wasted space on the top floor with only 2 rooms and lots of open balcony space not associated with a room. Great bathroom! Nice views out to the sea a block away. Liked the breakfast buffet very much and the cooked-to-order eggs option. All the receptionists were very friendly and most helpful."
Hotel Brancamaria
"Well what a surprise we had, we booked a 3 night stay through a half board deal with Voyage Prive, I was open minded as it represented such good value but it exceeded our expectation. The hotel is extremely efficient and catered for all of our needs, some might argue that it isn't in a fantastic location perched high on a hill overlooking the town and sea but this is it's advantage. From what we could see it attracts motorbike enthusiasts from all over Europe along with hikers, most were of a certain age. The hotel has a relaxed atmosphere and is generally quite. Our room was adequate and immaculately clean. The staff can't do enough for you and spoke good english, much to our surprise. We eat out often and cook at home, cooking has become our hobby so we're quite critical but I have to say that the food was outstanding. Thank you for a short but wonderful stay."
I Ginepri Hotel
"We enjoyed our stay here. Room was spacious and comfortable. Enough storage space, small fridge and safe. Bathroom was a good size and rain shower head. We had a large balcony overlooking the pool and garden. Pool and gardens were beautiful and well maintained, plenty of common areas to sit and they were always clean. Plenty of free parking in the streetcoutside the hotel. Breakfast was delicious and plenty to choose from. Walking distance to port, town and beach (although a steep climb back up again). Staff were super helpful and friend. Definitely recommend!"
Club Esse Cala Gonone
"We stayed just for the weekend, we had breakfast and dinner. The menu had different choices, the staff was very friendly. We had a chance to speak with the manager and the front office manager, who helped us with a problem with our transport. Reception staff very helpful, they suggested us some beaches to visit. We appreciated the service of the train that goes down to the beach!"
Albergo Miramare
"Excellent value for money. Ideal location, close to the coast and the port (very important if you're planning a tour of the coves or renting a boat). We want to highlight the service and the breakfast, which was very good :). Thank you so much for everything!!"
Hotel Resort Nuraghe Arvu
"We have just spent 4 nights in a pool side room. The rooms are spacious and clean but furniture and bathroom are dated. Hair dryers provided but not powerful. Safe deposit box provided free of charge and a very small fridge. Rooms cleaned daily. Very good air conditioning. Comfortable beds. Lovely spacious terrace overlooking the pool and beautiful gardens with chairs, table and retractable washing line. We arrived around midnight after a late flight and hadn’t eaten. The gentleman on the desk kindly made us a pizza. It was frozen and not the greatest but we appreciated it nonetheless. Breakfast was nice with a reasonable amount of choice, although the same every day. Lovely friendly waiting staff at breakfast. The only real downside was its location. It was a 15 minute, uphill walk from the marina/centre. Very disappointing that we weren’t told that the hotel laid on a mini bus down to the town (although not very regularly). We only found out from reading previous reviews too late into our stay."
Club Esse Palmasera
"The room is old with smallest shower I have ever seen in a hotel. No wifi in the rooms, only at the reception. You pau euros per day for parking and 30 euros for 2 bed and an umbrellas to use at the beach as well as 30 euro refundable deposit for the beach towels and 3 euro for each towel. The resort is quite a walk so not recommended for elderly especially if you want to go down to the beach. Breakfast is awful and limited choices. Just cakes and pastries. The resort have shows every night but you all in Italian language."
Hotel Cala Luna
"We stayed in this hotel as part of a bike tour. The hotel location, right on the water is spectacular. The rooms are a bit oldish and small but comfortable enough. Our room was on the side of the building, so street view and not much natural light. Breakfast is really nice and plentiful."
Hotel Ristorante la Conchiglia
"Best hotel in the town! They even recommend the best boat company down the road"
Il Nuovo Gabbiano
"We absolutely loved our stay at Il Nuovo Gabbiano. The location is fantastic, right next to the port and in the centre of everything. The beach is only a 2 minute walk away! The view from the balcony was incredible with stunning views of the sea and mountains. Despite it being right next to the port, noise was minimal. Breakfast was extra at €14pp each day however we chose to buy juice and pastries from the nearby supermarket to have out on the balcony every morning. The room was fairly big and contained a mini bar (only containing bottles of water) and coffee/tea making facilities. The hotel itself was clean and the staff were always friendly and helpful. There’s no parking, however we parked in the port across the road for €6 per day. We came later in the day so we managed to find a spot, it gets quite packed early morning. The hotel restaurant does great food, I would recommend the Sardinian ravioli with potatoes and cheese!"
BUE Marino Hotel & Rooftop Bar
"The room was beautiful, the hotel lobby was lovely, and the rooftop restaurant was a pleasant place to have a drink. The rooftop Jacuzzi was also quite interesting, and there was a cold shower next to it. The hotel helped me book a taxi to Olbia port; it was a large van that could seat many people (I think at least 8), and it cost €140. It would have been better if there were more people to share the fare."
Costa Dorada
"The lady who greeted us (I guessed she was the owner) was extremely unfriendly. Because I forgot to select "having a child" when booking the hotel, she looked unhappy and said there were three of us. I explained that I hadn't noticed this requirement when booking, and that we could share a bed with the child and pay extra. I had already offered to pay for the child, but she still looked reluctant, muttering, "Of course you can share one bed with your kid..." I asked her how we could check in, and she charged me 135 euros. She kept looking unhappy and muttering throughout the entire visit, but when a foreigner next to her asked her a question, she turned around and greeted them with a smile. I suspect she has a prejudice against Chinese people. 3000 RMB per night, zero service, and a consistently unfriendly attitude. When checking out, I asked her where to catch the bus back to the airport (there's only one bus from town back to Olbja, running four times a day). She actually said she didn't know, which was unbelievable! How could a hotel owner not know such important travel information? Fine, if she didn't know, she didn't know, but she kept muttering that there were only two stops… After checking out, we strolled along the beach for a while and sat on some lounge chairs and parasols with the hotel's name on them. She then told us that we needed to make a reservation to sit there, specifically emphasizing that we could continue sitting there now but we would need to pay. I told her I was leaving Calagone soon, and she still had a long face, standing there staring at us with a discriminatory expression. So I don't know if the parasols are charged for all hotel guests or what. In short, a very unpleasant experience. I suggest Ctrip remove this hotel from its Chinese website."
