Travelodge Doncaster ★★★
"We booked a room here just for a place to sleep as we required to be in Doncaster early morning and live four and a half hours away. We didn’t have high expectations anyway as we have stayed in a few Travelodges and you know what you are getting/what to expect. We were disappointed though as we would expect the room at the very least to be clean. There were dirty marks all over the floor, hairs in the bed, blood stains on the sheets and one of the towels was covered in what looked like dirty paw marks and a horrible green mark. I can’t fault the lady on the desk in the morning, she was already dealing with a police incident in reception but took the time to listen to our issues with the room and provided us with a Travelodge voucher which covered a portion of the price we paid for the room. Luckily we were only staying for one night but we would be hesitant to return due to cleanliness, the rooms being quite dated in comparison to other Travelodges and also doors slamming during the night/hearing people above us walking about."
Earl of Doncaster Hotel ★★★★
"The hotel is fabulous in every way!! The staff, the food, the service ant the room were exceptional"
Hilton Garden Inn Doncaster Racecourse ★★★★
"Very good hotel Staff are really nice The food is great no problem at all"
Premier Inn Doncaster Central ★★★
"Loud noises from all sides - road and towards the back (pubs?). Bath was dirty - had to remove other people’s body hair and rinse it myself before I could use it. Not as nice as other PIs"

The Punchbowl Inn
"It is a while since I have been here but when I went I thoroughly enjoyed this pub. It has a good atmosphere and the food was good also. All in all a good pub. I went with a friend and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit the staff were friendly and the atmosphere good. It is definitely a place I would recommend and go back to. Anne walker"
The Crown Hotel Bawtry-Doncaster
"Despite being quite busy we were looked after extremely well by a young lady called Phoebe. She did everything from seating us, drinks, taking orders, serving and sorting our bills. She corrected mistakes caused by our not explaining properly without any issues and was cheerful and pleasant throughout. I haven’t been to the Crown since the alterations but the atmosphere and decor were most definitely improved. The food was brilliant and more than ample and I’d certainly go back again."
Owston Hall Hotel
"Overall nice hotel, good sized room, nice and modern. Big comfortable bed. Only faults was there was a load of ladybirds in the bathroom, looks like there was some form of infestation. Only noticed this in the morning and reported it to the front desk when checked out. The bathroom door is also frosted with the window leaking through so was quite bright in the morning, think this might have just been my room though with it being on the end. It was great location for a wedding I attended at Hooton Pagnall Hall - only 10 mins away so great location for what I needed. Staff were friendly. Would recommend"
Home Farm & Lodge
"Despite living close by we like to enjoy the odd night out around Bawtry (few drinks and then onto one of the great restaurants the town has to offer). For years we would stay in the Crown Hotel. And then a friend recommended Home Lodge Farm, just a couple of miles out in the little village of Austerfield. We decided to give it a try and, wow, so glad we did. It is an absolute hidden gem. The rooms are way beyond anything you'd get in anything bar a real luxury hotel. And the little attention to detail (eco washing products, fresh fruit, bread, preserves and cereals, etc) set the place apart. If you visit then make time to potter in the gardens. You'll feel your stress levels fade away. Spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable. The owners (Kerry and Richard) are genuine, warm hosts who seem to honestly appreciate your custom. We cannot recommend highly enough. "
