Setting this location as a base for our stay in Lijiang provided such a tranquil moment as it overlooks a reservoir and the snow mountain. Beautiful room with a tub that we enjoyed during our stay. All staff were very helpful and provided help to purchase tickets to attraction, meals and even helped to purchase a Monocular from the meitu as we do not have a local number. We were also treated to a tea session at the premises. Such a wonderful time. Thank you for the excellent hospitality provided.

The place is very well located, in a quiet corner within the ancient shuehe town. This quaint compound houses the accommodation and a cafe which brings different vibes, modern and classic at the same time. Our caretaker 小冉 went out to help us in all ways he could. We wanted to go to the Yulong mountains and he patiently explained to us how the ropeways are organised (over a cup of tea that he brewed). He even tried to help us buy these ropeway tickets as you have to snatch them the day before. Overall, we had a memorable stay

Excellent location at the very entrance to the ancient city, central but tucked away from the busy nightlife. The hotel has a beautiful courtyard to relax. The breakfast is very good and plentiful. I could never finish it! The room was big, clean and had all the comforts. The best part of my stay, however, was the exceptional service provided by the hotel owner. He took the time to recommend some great spots to visit in Linjiang, arranged a fabulous two-day tour to Shangri-la and, despite my total lack of Chinese, had the time and the patience to have a long chat with me over some wonderful pu'er tea. I felt like I was being looked after by family. I will definitely come back.

During my Lijiang Shangrila trip on october 23rd to october 27th 2023, i stayed on 4 different hotels. Among 4 of them, this one is my least favorite. Their officer is quite nice actually. They helped to pick up my luggage when i arrived, showed me the way to the hotel, and helped to bring my luggage to the parking area. Their service during afternoon tea session was also perfect. The let down part comes from its price to value factor. This hotel has some rooms which their price are more expensive than 5 stars hotel. I have stayed in its most expensive room and the view is far from the pictures we saw in trip.com. their officer even not botheref to clean the room's window which becomes the specialty of this room. the best viewing area in this hotel is in its cafe, so if you still want to stay in this hotel just stay in its standard room and go to its cafe for picture. It also doesnt provide breakfast before 8 AM. It's the house's policy but it just not suitable for me who need to move in the morning. Nobody can speak english so that it's quite challenging for me who can not speak chinese at all. It was informed in trip.com that they provided ”good bye” snack in the evening but during my stay they didnt offer it to me. When i asked about it, the officer said that it's not available anymore. I know it just a simple thing, but they need to update the newest information. The other thing is parking area. It's not really closed with the hotel and the way from parking area to the hotel is not flat. The officer of this hotel will help you, but still, if you have many luggages you better think twice before staying inside the old town area.

The first stop in Yunnan, Lijiang, the first hotel/homestay I decided to stay in was Bo Xin~ We arrived at the ancient city smoothly. The store manager and the uncle pushing the tricycle came to the gate to pick us up. The uneven stone road did not make the beginning of our journey difficult. Instead, the explanation of the young lady about the journey and the ancient city made us quickly integrate. We were greeted by a beautiful courtyard, a warm family, warm pear soup, homemade snacks and specialty flower cakes. Lijiang is indeed much drier than Xiamen, and the pear soup really moisturizes the lungs~so much so that we applied for a refill after returning from the tour at night hahaha😂 Because we came in the off-season, the room was upgraded for us. ”Chenghai” is the room we stayed in this time. Looking at the courtyard water system in the room, it is very clean and tidy, and the supplies also make me feel thoughtful every time. Many things were prepared for me, and I called it leucorrhea. 😄 The most surprising thing is the exclusive products of Boxin, whether it is linen slippers (damn, I forgot to take them away😭) or cleaned disposable bamboo fiber bath towels, or peach wood combs, they all make people feel at ease and comfortable as if they were at home. The bedding is also very comfortable, and I slept well all night (if I hadn't worried about leaving for Yulong Snow Mountain early in the morning, I could sleep until twelve o'clock!)🥰 In addition, bath products, bathrobes, etc., will make you feel the thoughtfulness of Boxin everywhere. Walking through the gravel road is too atmospheric. After arriving at the store, the boss immediately made a cup of warm tea. Looking at the scenery through the window, you can relax instantly and forget the fatigue of rushing on the road. He recommended a delicious store nearby, which is really delicious. Asking about the surrounding tour methods will also give you several options for you to compare. The very honest and sincere feeling will make you convinced of their recommendations. Sitting on the terrace at night to enjoy the night view of the ancient city, come and taste a cup of black tea and a flower cake. It is worth the trip. The two-day stay even made me a little reluctant to leave. The night before checking out, you will also ask about your departure time, arrange someone in advance to send you to the pick-up point on the top of the mountain again, and will also take the initiative to help you contact the chartered car master. Excellent service, the staff are very attentive and the room was clean and comfortable. You can sit and enjoy tea with the owner who is excited to speak to foreigners. It’s also right next to the old town but is a much better deal than what you would get for the same price inside. It’s also close to the bus station and bar street.

The housekeeper used a tricycle to carry the luggage, and his attitude was very polite. We also sent flower cakes while waiting to check in. Grandma Wen's food was also very suitable for our appetite. The room heating was very comfortable! The cleaning aunt needs to be strengthened. We have placed the used cups next to the wash basin, and the aunt did not clean them. The day before check-out, we went to the front desk to inform that we would need a tricycle to send the luggage out at 7:30 tomorrow morning. The gentleman at the front desk asked us to contact the housekeeper ourselves. We told him whether we could help contact him since we did not have a Chinese mobile phone number. He said I would make a note for you, and then pointed to the contact number and said you should contact the housekeeper yourself😅Finally, we asked our driver to contact the housekeeper.
