Lijiang Designer Hotels

Location was slightly away from the main street which makes it quiet and secluded but at the same time a distance away from the sights and restaurants. Nice courtyard and gardens on the grounds. Generally friendly staff who drove us from the lobby to the room and vice versa in buggies. Front desk was also friendly but could have been a bit more proactive to introduce the free minibar and attraction tickets that came with the booking. Room was generally clean apart from a small stain on the sofa. Scenic photo spots at the roof bar. Overall a nice property.

This homestay enjoys a unique geographical environment. It is close to the Qingxi Reservoir and overlooks the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. The scenery is beautiful and the light is good. You can take a picture with just one frame. Although the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain was covered by clouds when I stayed there, the sparkling lake view alone is pleasing to the eye. The homestay is very modernistic as a whole. It has an artistic and level design and a good atmosphere. It is not the inferior decoration of other homestays that blindly pursues gimmicks. The floor and wall of the room are all latex paint (it should be). At first glance, it still takes time to adapt. It feels like the Iraqi war-damaged style, but it has a sense of ancient Greece when you live in it. It is very similar to the European and American dramas. The overall feeling is still OK. The bathtub is very intimate and equipped with a disposable cylinder sleeve and bath ball. I won’t go into details about other sanitary facilities. They are all good. The breakfast is also like a work of art. It has both delicious taste and fragrance. The ingredients are simple and pure. Each one is cooked very carefully. With this invincible landscape, it is too enjoyable to eat. Not to mention the service. I came back from the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain with altitude sickness, and the front desk Tao Zefen brother immediately gave me a bottle of oxygen. Highly recommended. If I'm not traveling by car next time, I will definitely stay here again. The road to drive in is quite narrow, which is quite a test of driving skills. I almost scraped against other cars when I was leaving. However, this is basically a common problem for all B&Bs in Lijiang.

ABSOLUTELY A GEM FIND!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! 又一居 tucked away at the end of an alley, you step into a hidden paradise where you can absolutely unwind and soak in all that yunnan has to offer. it’s a cosy abode that feels familiar and homely at every corner. the compound is big, 28 rooms and it seemed that every room had its own little nook / balcony / tea table to sit and enjoy great conversations. there are multiple courtyards, each with its own charm.. as you navigate from one courtyard to another, you can’t help but marvel at the tranquility and peace this place offers. it is extremely kid friendly. breakfast is mian xian noodles, porridge and a lovely assortment of refillable side dishes, afternoon tea is egg tarts + polo bun + americano / lychee tea. there’s a free fruit buffet everyday with a wide assortment of seasonal fruits, yoghurt, peanuts, tea, etc. there’s an on-site cafe, bakery and bar, 247 access to guest kitchen and laundry. the room was spacious, and bed was comfortable. it even has a TV with KTV function, you get to croon to 5 free songs everyday! the staff are extremely warm, and seem to genuinely love working here. they go beyond their means to help us feel comfortable, ensuring that we get the best advice (and best deal!) i’d love to give 晓黎 special mention, as she made herself available even at midnight to help us make arrangements for the next day! many thanks! 😘 the location is fantastic, as you’re nestled right in the heart of the food street running against a stream (the most photosque area of shuhe ancient town). right outside is a well know “小锅饭” restaurant that’s highly rated on meituan. the nearest pickup / drop off point would be: 束河古镇东南门 (Route to a slip road where you will see “Li Shui Yang Fang Conifer Carpark Entrance”). We arranged for luggage transfer to the hotel from this point, and easily arranged for taxi pick ups.

He is very enthusiastic and treats people very sincerely. He helped us grab tickets for the Yulong Snow Mountain Scenic Area, told us how to play and save money to avoid pitfalls, and recommended the Muwang Banquet for eating mushrooms. The mushroom hotpot is really delicious and amazing. The couple of friends who traveled with me have lived abroad for a long time. Before returning to China, they mainly chose five-star hotels. This time, under my recommendation, they experienced Lan Ye, which made them aware of the designer homestay and expressed that they would choose this type of homestay as a tourist residence in the future... There was a good night energy pack at night to help you sleep well. The butler service here is 24 hours online, on call, and any needs can be responded to quickly. There is also a super warm turndown service at night, and the fatigue of the day is instantly dissipated. A 5-piece/room laundry service is also provided every day, which is really convenient! It is particularly worth mentioning that the local experience of Yunnan Pu'er tea can allow you to deeply experience the local tea culture. Every corner of the hotel reveals exquisiteness and care. Before checking in, the housekeeper Dacheng contacted us in advance and arranged a pick-up at the station very considerately. He carried the luggage all the way to the room and solved any problems very quickly. The hotel has a great view, overlooking the entire Lijiang Ancient Town. The facilities are very good in the B&B, all with automatic curtains, and you can take a bath every day. The staff are also very friendly and take good care of the children. The most important thing is that in the process of chatting with local merchants, I learned that this is a rare B&B without any promotion and hidden consumption. The housekeeper is very considerate but very Buddhist, and does not do any promotion. When we said we were going to Yulong Snow Mountain, he did not recommend a travel agency, but directly said to go to the official website to grab tickets. If you can grab them, go, and if you can't grab them, don't go. It's super real, hahahaha. I stayed very comfortably for these three days. If I come next time, I will choose this one again.

The room is large, clean and hygienic, the bathroom is separated from wet and dry, and the parking lot is convenient. It is a little more than one kilometer away from the Old Town of Lijiang. It is very convenient to ride a shared bicycle to the Old Town, and it is also convenient to eat and shop nearby.

Hotel was neat and rooms were spacious. Resort's property is big and requires electric car to transfer among different buildings. Staff is helpful despite having language issues. When we arrived at the north gate of the ancient city, Ashin was already waiting, helping us take the luggage to the hotel and delivered it to the door of the room. The service was really thoughtful. Every time I saw someone dragging a suitcase on the stone road in the ancient city, I was glad that our choice was so correct. It is so convenient to enter and exit the hotel. It is less than five minutes away from the hotel. It is convenient to take a taxi or a tour group car. The hotel has both the comfort of a modern hotel and the characteristics and style of a homestay. It is clean, tidy and tidy. The inner courtyard on the first floor of the hotel has a first-class environment.
