Had an amazing time celebrating a joint birthday for myself and friend Bee. We have been to the startler a few times but to the rooftop This time it was a little different as we actually booked a hotel room for our staycation. The check in was seamless and quick. The gentleman that checked us in on August 2nd 2025 around 1pm. What a gem he is. He meticulously explained the check in process and got us upgraded to a great room with a nice view. What a treat. The pool on 3rd floor was amazing and so was brunch at the over easy restaurant. Service was quick and fantastic. As a diamond member I felt valued and well taken care of during my stay. I forgot my very expensive speaker in the room upon check out. I realized this as soon as I got home. I called the front desk of the hotel and was told to fill out a lost and found form online. Got a call that my speaker had been recovered and could pick it up. I would definitely patronize this hotel in the future. A great place to vacation.

The building is nicely renovated and the staff is very nice. However there are too many operational issues for me to give it a higher rating. Valet is way understaffed and costs $60 per day. Two long waits for my car. One at 25 minutes and one at 30minutes on day of checkout. Room Service does not answer the phone. Many calls to get breakfast ordered and only after calling the front desk did that get accomplished. As a Diamond member, I was not looking for preferential treatment, just the standard that they should live up to for an expensive urban hotel with pricey meals and valet. Very disappointed.

Wonderful property and staff. Valet, pool, and restaurant and housekeeping staff were attentive, friendly and helpful, and Tavio at the front desk went above and beyond to help make it an even better stay. Will be happy to book again next time I’m in Dallas.

This would have been higher, but for my wife and I’s original check in experience. Tavio, the multiple valets, and Trey (doorman) were amazing and what we thought the experience was going to be. But they were extremely emphatic to our situation extremely helpful with assisting us the next day. Thank yall!
